You've asked, I've answered - here is the ultimate CK3 mods for a vanilla-like experience, yet one which significantly upgrades the game into what you wish Crusader Kings 3 was like out of the box. With entirely new mechanics for the Holy Roman Empire, the Papacy and Catholicism as a whole, an entirely new campaign map with fog of war mechanics, new ledgers, coat of arms, massive cities and city models, and so on and so forth, CK3 will never be the same again! And yes, this is my personal mod list for the ultimate CK3 overhaul experience.
Massive kudos and thank you go to all the modders who work both tirelessly and for free to bring us ordinary mortals an infinitely better experience than we could ever hope for, and which adds so much to these games we love and play for hundreds if not thousands of hours.

The creator of cities of wonder, kirkathon, unfortunately is no longer with us. May they rest in peace, and thank you for developing such a beautiful mod for CK3.
Thanks for featuring my RICE mod and its Normandy struggle from the Normandy flavor pack in particular - much appreciated! For those who are interested, the other struggles added by the mod are the Colonization of Greenland from the North Atlantic flavor pack, the Sri Lankan Sangha from the Sri Lanka flavor pack, and later this year a new one called the Sicilian Frontier for the upcoming Sicily Flavor Pack. Of course there's a lot of other content too as mentioned in the video like events, decisions, activities, and more.

Just want to add that the whole greenland / America part is a must play for me most sessions
The fog of war kind of reminds me of Total War games.

@@AndysParadox I feel like HOI4 already gets a lot of coverage on KZread so seeing mod videos on EU4 and Victoria 2 would be nice. I’d love to see a video on the MEIOU & Taxes mod for EU4 since it’s a total overhaul but I feel like it’d be quite an undertaking as there’s a lot to learn

@@ericescobedo3456 yeah that’d certainly be a lot to learn, but I’m interested in testing it out more. I’ve loved Voltaire’s Nightmare, but sadly it chugs so hard even on my beastly PC
So I play More Provinces Expanded all the time, is there compatibility with that? Playing as,say, Bohemia with like only 8 counties in the whole duchy is wild and I’d love to continue using it alongside the other mods listed
You should make a Steam collection for these.

I think what killed ck 3 for me is the fact that i dont have a steam version... so basically im locked out of almost every good mod in the game

some of them yes, but some of the gameplay-changing ones, I probably wouldn't install mid campaign, but feel free to check on the individual Steam mod pages where others might've asked the same question :)

Next time put the name on screen when u talk about a new mod so people can pause idk what y saying sometimes
just give the mod name in the video instead of calling them mod 1, mod 2....
