Hope they not just going off a computer's 0 evaluation, if one side has obvious moves but the other needs obscure moves that no human would find, then it's not really equal.

Instead of white to play, you can also choose black to play games but invert the colors.
Isn’t GM Fressinet a second of Magnus? Partiality?

Yeah and the same goes for Jan :/ I believe their choices have not been influenced by that, but it's definitely weird to think about. Luckily the tournament is unrated and has very low stakes!
