    So you're essentially saying our standards are shiet? I'm embarrassed that came from my country. Especially from North Carolina, they have high standards, but if they delivered something that costs tens of thousands of dollars, you'd at least expect it to not be in the condition. Imagine if you received a Mustang or a Challenger delivered to your house, but the guy crashed it on his way TO your house. "Sorry bruh, didn't mean to do that" and then the dude leaves with your money. I think then you might be able to understand the guys frustration and shade throwing, he was expecting to make money, but because of the shiet work the dudes did in capturing this fish, he just lost (I'm assuming) about $6,000.

  • @Pughhead

    @Pughhead

    5 жыл бұрын

    It doesn't matter what standard he expected. You can order a $4.95 pizza from Domino's and wish for a 5 course gourmet meal to arrive instead, but that's not ya gonna get.

  • @daringdarius5686

    @daringdarius5686

    5 жыл бұрын

    But is that a $4.95 pizza? It's one of the most expensive fish in the world, worth several thousands of dollars. I would hope that the people who caught it would at least do it properly. Also there are such a thing known as "standards". If you want an example: If you don't meet Gordon Ramsay's standards in the kitchen, you get the boot. Simple as that. In this case, not much can be done as A) he already bought the fish and was screwed by their job B) He's not their boss, or their mom. The worst thing he can do is just do nothing. If they continue to do a poor job, he could say "they fking suck at fishing" and all of a sudden, any restaurant worth it's salt will stop buying Tuna from North Carolina.

I understand that you’re trying to bring to light some of the questionable fishing techniques some (not all) fisherman practice. But this is not the video to do so. If you truly want to make a difference, there are plenty of videos online that show the questionable practices of the fishing industry (you know, the actual fishing part) that you can comment on. You’re overreaching here with a video that is tangentially related, especially when it highlights someone who clearly has respect for the product. Let’s just take a step back and appreciate his hard work and dedication. Screaming about fishing ethics here will just push ppl away from your view, not towards it.

    I feel this is one of those quotes that sounds wise to dumb ppl but is not really true though at all... for many things its great to learn from others and you would be considered excessively arrogant if you assumed you could just teach yourself. I love many things that I have been humble enough to admit there are others that know much more about this topic than me and have been curious and eager to learn from others.. the passing on of information from human to human is so important to our nature and success as a species. Also its impossible to teach urself something completely unless u have invented it completely independently urself.. if it existed before much of what u learn has been passed on by another human being .. if you count reading books and learning things as teaching yourself you are wrong because this is still others teaching you.. take learning to play the piano.. for example .. unless u invent the piano and teach yourself completely independent of any other human being you will have already had multiple ppl teaching u before u even sit down to play the first time...

    A more literal translation of the Japanese would be: As for things that you like, are (you) not going to do it by yourself? As for things that (you) hate, (you're) just being taught by others. (I) like tuna so much, so (I) earnestly learn by myself. Which is why the Japanese sentence seems longer than the English. I'm marking all of the subjects because it does not exist in the Japanese sentence. Japanese sentences often omit the subject.

    I fished on a commercial fishing boat in the South Pacific jig fishing for Albacore for a Japanese buyer. We would meet a “Fish Technician” in Tahiti & he would grade the fish. Every fish had to be head gaffed. It is difficult as the boat is moving & your pulling fish by hand as fast as you can. That experience taught me how serious Japan is about their fish. Beautiful video.

    Humankind has constantly ignored God and His message for too long. We act in the place of God who is the creator of nature and the universe. Our sheer arrogance and total disregard for God and His son Jesus Christ have brought all these miseries and miscalculations. Science with all its 'benefits' and ramifications cannot and will never replace God's message of salvation to humankind through His only begotten son Jesus Christ. Therefore my friend if you desire to have eternal life after your short stay on earth then you must settle the sin factor through believing the atonement that Jesus Christ made on the cross of Calvary. All humankind is born as sinners and no sinner will inherit God's kingdom. Please repent from your sins and give your life to Jesus Christ so that you can have the righteousness of God which is only in Jesus. dclm.org/

    His bankai creates a giant fish he can control that tries to swallow the enemy, regenerating instantly whenever it is damaged while his blade gets even bigger. If the fish swallows you, its stomach liquids seal your abilities and poisons/paralyzes you. He can slice through the giant fish to instantly kill you without harming the fish. It also can emit versatile waves of water that can slice and incapacitate at a distance. He can create water walls to block attacks, too. As the battlefield fills with water, the fish becomes faster and stronger.

Ive been working towards a networking degree and everyday i dread working in that field more.. I rather have this, i rather be a person who works hard and maybe doesn't make as much , though i can be proud about doing what i do.

    For 12.50$ starting an hour you can be an EMT and love your job everyday. Lots of advancement, you can help people and drive on the opposite side of the road (among other things: hot partners, in uniform restaurant discounts, police mostly leave you alone) And you will ALWAYS have job security. Five years ago I was a dishwasher and now I’m here. Life is good. Pay isn’t everything.

    to take a $37k hit on a single fish to avoid tarnishing your reputation takes a person of exquisite character. he easily couldve cut off a smaller piece, played dumb or made excuses but he chose to retain his title of king instead. you, sir, have my respect and admiration. love from the US. im sure whoever sold him that sub-par tuna will greatly regret losing this man's business.
