They all spoke good enough English, we did not have any problem communicating. Service was pretty nice, if we had any questions about the food that was served they answered it. It was about 1:30-2hr dinner we all got to speak to people sitting next to us for little bit. After all there were only about 10 of us at the max at the bar. Over all very warm pleasant experience :) Hope you have a good time 🙏🏼❤️

The quality of sushi in Japan cannot be compared to that in the US due to its proximity to the source. Additionally, the current exchange rate between the Japanese Yen and the USD is very favorable for dollar holders :)

@@hopescape6697... You mentioned the "Daiwa sushi" in Tokyo fish market. It seems to be the "Toyosu" market recently opened NEW fish market in Tokyo. I don't mind its quality or even the prices at all, but the ATMOSPHERE at Toyosu is different from the old Tsukiji fish market in Tokyo. Toyosu looks like just a supermarket. If you haven't been to Tsukiji, try to visit. Trully speaking, now only a small part of it remains - it was moved from the city center to Toyosu island. But it's still worth visiting.

I felt that was with in Japanese culture most of places we went even if we spoke very minimal Japanese they spoke back to us in English. To be honest if they went in to full Japanese mode got back to us in Japanese we probably won’t understand much. I thought they knew foreigners well and we both went in a respectful way.
