1:57 Kudos to that older bloke for encouraging Ishmael. I like how Tube employees stick together. It must be a pain in the ass driving trains on the Jubilee line since you have to be extremely accurate in lining up the train with the platform. Had Ishmael been paying attention instead of talking, he would have gotten it right.

most trains on that section of the LU are 2 actual trains coupled together. As a result a set of 2 is commonly referred to as a train and a single set is referred to as a half.

I know right, but now Jubilee Line trains are automatic, there's still a driver in the cabin who opens and closes the doors and presses a button to start the train, but the dead man's handles aren't needed anymore I think

The Central Line too indeed, but the Jubilee Line trains're also automatic now - might sound a bit sad, but whenever I travel from Canary Wharf to Waterloo [and have been for over a year now], the trains do literally the same speed limits, like they jerk in a certain place as well sometimes

They should put those door gates for subway trains here in new york especially at grand central for the 4,5,6,7,S trains

They're never run as half a train but I suppose they could have a spare half in the depot

I'm guessing that having those platform doors has cut the suicide ("one under") rate on the Jubilee Line dramatically.

Rubbish, since there are certain stations on the Underground, that also say it on there wording !!!!! So please get your facts right, before saying I am rude.

I think you will find that Westminster, is not spelt Westminister. I think you need the English lessons, pal.
