Sorry, but only Britain could turn around and say, "you know what, bollocks" and get the service running again to EIGHTY-FIVE FUCKING PERCENT the very next morning. No other nation in the world could've done that. Excuse the swearwords but that makes me proud as fuck to be British *salutes*

I'm an American who loves the UK. I'm sorry those cowards attacked the majestic Tube, but I'm glad the country recovered from adversity.

4:27 'reasonably normal morning, the Northern line was suspended, on top of that we had a defective train on the Piccadilly line' Yep, that does sound normal by LU standards 😂 that made me laugh a bit! On a serious note though, the 7/7 attacks were horrendous and I hope nothing like that ever happens again. I was 15 when it happened but I was at home in Ireland and nowhere near London on the day. I did go there that summer though after the attacks but my family were and are too scared to go on the tube after it. They simply refuse to use it, which is a shame because I've become a tube enthusiast and there are a lot of stations I would love to see whenever I visit London (I grew up there but moved to Ireland when I was 13 and I still go sometimes to see family and friends)

This was sooo sad. My cousin lives in London, and I was soo scared for her and her family. I was 11 and she was 12 when that happened, and it was like 9/11 all over again.

I was talking in terms of the emotion and the severity of the situation. Any act of terrorism, no matter how large or small the scale, is a sad and horrible event in my eyes.

I guess I understand your point; you could NEVER compare the scale of severity or mass destruction. But overall, I see terrorism attacks as horrible events and I mourn/feel for all victims equally, with same amount of passion.

It doesn't do anything. If they want to do something, they should, assuming one still exists, donate to a charity that helps the victims and their families. People comment about things like this or the Amanda Todd story and say that something should be done, yet nobody gets off their high horse and do something about it.

hopelessboi So what should they do about it? And for your information, the money rarely gets to victims. Look at the Red Nose day expo. Years ago. Charity exes live a royal life

Damm, the british had guts to run it for sure, if this was in sydney.... there would be no train services for days on end... and for intercity trains (if it happened in the city) would terminate outside of the city limits....

And then there's Sydney's train system, shuts down the whole line for the whole day just because the electrical wire got pulled down...
