I always admired him and Paul's loyalty to one another. Hearing Shawn's journey through his drug addiction and everything is awe inspiring and really opened my eyes to how toxic the work environment must've been back then especially for him being a 'little guy'. I remember Shawn saying in another interview that he turned to drugs to "escape" and he never further explained it. But i think that was why. The politics got to him. I would've turned to drugs too.

Everyone knows. He was a better behind the scenes political mover than actual worker. He was basically a mid card quality worker who managed to network his way in with the right people. Not to take anything away from him though, there's been much worse wrestlers who were massive fuckin superstars because they were oiled up juicebombs
