Check out what the work he did bringing up NXT. While Vince was fucking up RAW and Smackdown, Trips made NXT the brand to watch for years to the point that more than five years ago people were clamoring for Vince to hand the company to Hunter just because of the steps he took in creative in NXT. Surprisingly Vince actually did do that but not before driving half the fans away from the brand, but everyone is hoping that Trips will bring the brand back up to the heights it once had been

I remember watching the very first live Raw show, in the UK. It was October 2004 at the MENA Arena in Manchester. I went with a huge annoying Man Utd fan & me being an Arsenal fan, it wasn't easy being in the car with him lol. But after watching the likes of Evolution, Randy Orton on his own, HBK, Edge, Jericho and Kane that night and thanks to William Regal as well. My mate actually shut up! 😂. He said that the atmosphere was better than any Man United game on a champions league night!. Ppl were dressed up as Ric Flair, Mick Foley and a very skinny Hulk Hogan, giving us all entertainment during the breaks in between matches. Triple H made me laugh that night by saying "I don't want to wrestle in front of all those sheep sh*ggers!" 😂 It was awesome! Thanks to WWE and to the fans for that night!

I wouldn't say Shawn was a big player in the Attitude Era. I would say with his injury sidelining him for so long I would say he was a great New Generation guy and great second run in the Ruthless Aggression era. But missed most of the Attitude Era.

Shawn wasnt really there for the AE. Not the meat of it. I consider The night after WM14 to be the defacto big start of the AE and WM 17 to be the end. Shawn missed it all in terms of in ring work.

@@corneliussmiff2773 so the racial shit, pitting the Nation vs the Hart Foundation, Shawn literally laying down for Hunter for a main event on Raw, Survivor Series Screwjob, using Harvey to make fun of Rude, using a midget to make fun of Bret, showing the curtain call during an in ring promo segment on Raw, suck it, the first Hell in a Cell, none of that was Attitude? Shawn and Hunter are the two who are most to thank for the Attitude Era.

@@ComaAlpha When did I say it wasn't? Those were the foundations and proto stages but it had not yet been fully implemented across the entire product from TV and branding. I was merely saying that a logical starting point would be the night after WM14 where so much changed occurred. It's no surprise that a fortnight later the scatch logo was rolled out for the first time. As we know these things are not light switch moments, they are a gradual thing. I firmly believe that WM14 - WM17 is a reaonsable way to bookend the era.

Yes but these were not clearly define start and end points. Who would you say was the poster child for that era? Steve Austin. He became the champ for the first time at 14 and turned heel ending his fued with Vince at 17. Again, these are defacto start and end points but are reasonable to designate.

Triple H : "Do you know who Gable Steveson is?" Rory Jennings : "No" 🤦 He's only the Olympic Gold medalist in Olympic wrestling and a current WWE pro wrestler. It's obvious that Rory knows nothing about present day pro wrestling. He's deffo one of those that hasn't watched it for 20 years. You should've got someone like Expressions Oozing to do this interview. He at least knows who Gable Steveson is

Really? No disrespect to the man, but I don't care about Olympic wrestling at all, and when it comes down to WWE he's basically done nothing remarkable at this point. Yeah he was at WM 38 but he was the most forgettable part of both days, so even when watching present day wrestling, there's no reason why you absolutely need to know his name. Same way I didn't know anything about Kurt Angle when he made his WWF debut.

I remember his Debut in WWF as the "Blue Blood" Heel and his "Evolution" Into The GAME HHH!!! But to me the Biggest/Greatest accomplishment of his is the Fact that Motorhead not Only penned The Game(Which I have for my wake up alarm, because when we go to Work we are Literally Playing the Game!! It's not about our Performance, Attitude or attention to detail but how We Play the Game!!) Also The King of Kings and Evolution!! Not to mention the DX theme!) He's definitely someone I would like to meet in person, already met Nash and seriously when we had a picture taken I put my hand on his back and could feel a ridge from I'm thinking a serious back surgery, but at 6'1" and 270lbs he made me look like my son next to me back then! I haven't watched Raw or anything for quite a few years now but still wish I would've tried because I Know I could've been another Stone Cold Or TRIPLE H! Because I Play The Game on a Whole Different level and every place I've worked at I've been a difference maker because when my last job the Big Boys in Atlanta knew Me over how many Thousands of workers GPC had at the time I was(as I was told) unknowingly being brought up at their meetings.
