I think the active recovery thing is huge because your muscles and connective tissue rely on bloodflow to get nutrients to recovery so very light exercise where you can just get a bit of a pump or break a sweat can really aid with recovery

ey bro nice video ... thanks for the tip I been going on a weightloss journey.. went from around 285 to around 265 pounds, my issue been getting enough water, food portions on plate and such along with sleep and to be as active as possible... I struggled often with calf and such when on threadmill it gets tight and cramps at times... btw I subscribed to your channel so I can check out your Bball vids or whatever, rock on. ^^

Dakota is it too much training if I do your full body lifting routine, how to stay in D1 shape and how to increase your vertical every single day but split it up like Kobe did for example 10am D1 shape session 2pm full body lifting session and end the day with vertical exercises at around 8pm and some basketball (shoot arounds, working on handles etc)?
