Good God! As an American descendant of Irish immigrants, I have to say - Irish men sound like children. The peer group pressure thing belongs in school, not in the adult world. The dating scene sounds like a horror story come to life. People use bars and drinking to break the ice and socialize, but this is taking it waaay to far.

As an Irish person I prefer our way. But its all an individual thing. I cant imagine dating like an american.
Does the Brazilian man and Irish woman couple work well? I'm single and being transferred to Cork in June.
Irish people go abroad to party with other irish people in better weather.
