I followed Dr Ekberg after getting into Dr Sinclair and it has worked great for me... ... Unfortunately, my daughter followed along and it didn't work for her. How do you find a doctor versed in this logic? For me, I couldn't find one... They all told me I wouldn't likely get off my bp meds... Now I'm med free and lower bp than when I was 20. So, how do you find resources when most medical doctors tend to check critical thinking at the door?

Tack igen. Mvh. Johan.

Good point.
Why is it so hard to find a doctor like him ? I have never found a doctor even close to his knowledge and philosophy.
I started studying Dr Ekberg about a month ago. During this time, I began a fast and stopped eating sugar and carbs. Thank you for this video. I need all of the health info that's good for my body. I trust what this doctor is saying.

I’m 38, very active, watch what I eat, do a lot of strength weight training. But I always found myself feeling bloated and tired at certain periods of the day. I cut out nightshades… and now I feel tremendous, no more bloating, and just feel that much more healthier. It’s true what he said the food to not eat is the food that you react to.

At age 70 I think a lot about the aging process. But since finding Dr. Ekberg I have less anxiety about aging issues. I feel I have more control over aging and being able to age on my terms. So grateful to Dr. Ekberg. And thank you Inside Tracker for giving Dr. Ekberg an hour and a half to talk.
Dr. Ekberg is not only a champion athlete but a champion doctor and thinker! I wish all doctors could work with Dr. Ekberg's knowledge!
15:00 completely true. I had to start eating all raw fruits, vegetables and greens with almost no sodium and no fat for 6+ months after having acute liver failure from steroids and alcohol. I lost 100lbs of muscle, went from 250lbs to 150lbs and now I'm eating lots of beef and eggs again 13 months after the liver failure, liver enzymes are great, natural test levels are great, up to 175lbs now. It took a few months to start tolerating a little lean chicken breast with a couple meals a day, after 6 months I could start tolerating healthy amounts of healthy fats and sodium enough to start doing moderately hard training. After 9 months I could start having enough saturated fat and protein to have good natural test levels and start training hard enough to put weight back on. Skyr is like a miracle food for me. Ungulate meat, tubors, skyr, leafy greens, a little citrus and some berries and I'm all over it.

Why didn't you value vegetable proteins when you lived vegan? That was the fail in your otherwise super healthy diet! When we eat different vegetable proteins, our body converts them into the form we need. 🌱💚

@@chantallxvx4102 Some vegetable proteins I couldn't tolerate, even with trying to get used to them for a long time, some didn't make any difference and didn't keep my body weight stable. I came to the conclusion that for me at least, these vegetable proteins don't get converted into useful amino acids or something else is happening to where they don't fulfill what I see as my protein needs, which includes feeling ok, maintaining weight and muscle mass, having the strength to workout hard, being able to think.

Everything in my life got better when I started following Dr. Ekberg’s keto/ intermittent fasting advice. I have always struggled with my eating/weight. No more! I love what I eat - very low carb, but yummy! I never feel deprived nutritionally, reached my goal weight swiftly (miraculously!) and have kept it off easily. Have to admit my favorite side effect of this food plan is looking great in my clothes. If you have any vanity, go for keto as Dr. Ekberg presents it/teaches it. It’s wonderful to see him here. PS I also know that my years in a 12 Step eating recovery support group has given me a wisdom about overeating that is invaluable. I probably wouldn’t be as successful on the keto/fasting plan if I didn’t understand and accept my food addiction.

@@playpianotoday6223 , not quite certain of this, but I think the famous « 12 steps « support groups are based on the methods of the Alcoolic Anonymous (AA) movement, that has saved millions of lives, whatever their detractors have said. The main idea is to realize that one has lost control of his/her life, ask for help humbly. Support groups are GREAT for some people. They were just not for me, but I’d never advise not to go there!! Hope this could help, and pray you find what you seem to express you need.

Everyone should keep a food diary. Every time you eat write down what you have eaten and after 15 minutes write how you feel.Do this also with beverages. Water doesn't matter, but keep track of that also. Do this daily and always write down how you feel even after drinking beverages. After a month, read your diary and you will see what foods trigger your issues with diabetes.
