The Shadowban is the first board I've had that I wanted to ride every day, did ride almost every day, and still want to ride every day. Paired with Katanas. Top sheet is nicked up pretty bad but I'll be on this thing until it claps.

As always awesome. Thanks. I rode the 2023 Ride Shadowban last year on your recommendation and absolutely loved it. A brilliant board. The only issue is that I could only get a 154cm - which given I'm 63kg and short - was a touch big for me. So post season, I took the option to sell it for just a bit less than I paid for it! On the back of I was wondering if you would recommend a 151cm Shadowban or a 154cm Resort Twin? I saw that the recommended weight range for the 154 Resort Twin is more like the 151cm Shadowban (rather than the 154cm version).

I rode TRS for 12 years (x3 boards) my last one is 8 years old (time off due to knee injury) I loved them, they seem to have got stiffer and the camber profile has changed. Switched to Mercury, partly due to Angry´s reviews and fancied some diversity in my life, took some time to get into with the full camber, but find it most excellent now....could be tempted to go back to TRS as i loved those boards. Mind you still have my old TRS which has still got some days left in it. I am a rad dad, but dont think much of buttering...more soul riding :)

Occasional trips out west, but not to justify needing a board for pow. Which deck would you go with in my situation? Id consider myself an advanced rider.

No! Learning to butter on that board is all 100% you. It's not that stiff but you're thinking its what's holding you back when in reality it's you. Go eat an edge once or twice you'll learn real quick. If I can learn on 12mm's of pure camber on a death plank made with stiff ass wood you can learn on that.

@@AngrySnowboarder Thx for your feedback Avran! Started snowboarding a year and a half ago snowboarding at age 43, dislocated my shoulder learning to carve but enjoying it so much I can't quit snowboarding. Just wanted to figure out which board would suit me best for learning to butter on combined with the experience I already have now. If you think I'll be fine on my Jackpot to learn buttering I'm gonna go for it on this board. I just thought a camrocker would be a lil more forgiving towards my learning curve concerning buttering. Cheers and thx again for the feedback. Much appreciated. 🤙

Thinking I am sticking with camber but not sure the TRS is for me. First impressions were it was way too stiff. Felt like a tank and not agile and I got all tossed around when hitting bumps. Decided I do like the camber and the posture it puts me in like a squat vs. the more upright position the C2 had me in. And maybe it could grow on me. But I think it's too stiff and the season is over and I will probably put it on ebay.
