This movie was truly creative, the creepiest part was when Henry as a little boy snuck into the embalming room late at night to peek at her corpse...and oops, knocking it over, and she resurrected to zombie state till his dad turned on the light and entered the room! In real life anyone has to be brave, especially a child to explore a corpse late at night like that.

This movie was such a good time back in the day, and actually creeped me out-Mary Shaw was NO joke😂

I would love to see a Dead Silence TV Series if not a prequel to take place before the events of the 2007 film, set in the 40's targeting the men that killed her.

to this day, this part still gives me nightmares at 6:45

This movie is the reason I don't scream during horror movies

I'm not going to lie, even though its not his best film, I still love this movie. I can see the early stages of James Wan's Insidious and The Conjuring in this and I will always love over the top, campy horror. Its why even though its not my favourite, I liked Malignant too.

The legend of Mary Shaw if you scream she'll cut out your tongue. I loved this movie it terrified me as a kid. I always wondered who would be a good opponent for Mary Shaw in the horror verse if a crossover ever happened.

Underrated horror movie

I get to meet this woman in the next few months in Indianapolis at the days of the dead horror convention. This woman traumatized me as a child and I cannot wait to meet her to thank her lol

This is on my top 5 scary movies of all time! I sure was hoping they would make a part II but it never came. Hopefull they will change there mind one day.

Billy Is basically the actual horror version of slappy.

I watched the trailer many times on tv and it freaked me out. I went to the opening weekend showing and recall some of the people in the row in front of verbally like trying to hype themselves like “okay, here we go” when the movie started 😂😂

Because it's going to be spooky season soon, my mind started to question things about this movie out of nowhere and I was asking my AI apps about possibilities for future movies and questions on why things happened in the movie and it kind of makes sense. My first confusion was why Mary went after Jamie's girlfriend, and then, knowing that Mary was going after the Ashen family, it made sense. Mary stopped them from continuing the family tree.
