I think that people don’t talk enough about how Ron was abused and traumatized by every one of the Tammys possibly even including his Mother. After all why would he have such poor choice in Tammys if he didn’t have a poor model. Even the toughest most self sufficient guy on the show struggled with mental health. Remember this if you feel weak in the face of struggles. Even the best of us can struggle men and women.

When Diane (Lucy Lawless) was/on "Xena:Warrior Princess", she could always tells when Aries was around and would get pissed like Ron does. So for her to say, "I know that look" it's a call back to Xena sensing Aries😅. Fantastic writing🤗

Leslie is definitely a ride or die best friend, we all need a friend like her

As much as I loved the interactions between Ron and Tammy 2, I loved Diane for Ron because Ron deserved to have a normal woman in his life. He was traumatized by his mom, Tammy, Tammy 1 and then Tammy 2. To see him happily married again, with three children was actually great. And it was a plus that Diane could deal with his quirks and baggage.

I always imagine a scenario where someone comes forward with what she did and it results in Tammy 1 getting charged with grooming, statutory rape, abuse of authority (she used her status as an IRS agent to get information on his assets), fraud (I’m fairly sure that a fake audit qualifies as fraud), and conspiracy to commit grand larceny (stealing fools gold in an attempt to rob Ron of real gold). She also had Ron make a joint bank account with her, so it could be considered financial coercion, but since I am not a lawyer, I don’t know if it would be a crime.

Amy Poehler is an absolute genius. The cast of this show is just incredible.

Tammy 1 groomed him. Tammy 2, who he grew up w/ under Tammy 1, abused him mentally, emotionally, & sexually. His mom, Tammy, saw it all happening & allowed it. Ron had it rough in the female relationships department. Thank Heaven he gets a happy ending romantically w/ Diane, a platonic one of friendship w/ Leslie & Donna, & a paternal one w/ his three kids & sometimes April.

Watching Nick Offerman and Megan Mullaly together is amazing. The fact that they're married in real life but can play people who are totally wrong for each other is comedic brilliance. Also, the snapping fingers when he's accepting his award made me laugh hysterically.

I’m actually kind of sad that I never realized that Ron was groomed :( not to mention abused sexually.

Saying "Nah nah na nanah" in a dead pan tone is pure comedy gold! Parks and Rec goes up on the NBC comedy show Mount Rushmore with Cheers, Seinfeld, and Friends!

I think it’s funny that they used his actual real life wife to play one of the “Tammys” on the show. You can tell they had some real life chemistry and I think it made their on scene interactions more authentic and real in the rawest form.

His lifestyle and the interactions with all of the Tammys is a classic example of what Feud calls “Oepial Complex”. From an psychological perspective, his relationship with his mother which was traumatic had made him more vulnerable to women of the same name due to their personality and their association to his mother and so all of them are fighting to keep their control over him. Very interesting perspective.
