Awesome, but "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" wasn't from that album. I guess the prism is synonymous with the band. Still cool though, can't really complain.

While the graphic is from The Dark Side of the Moon, the music is the instrumental opening to the 5-part song "Shine on You Crazy Diamond" from the album "Wish You Were Here". I think the devs just loved Pink Floyd in general.

I think they do. In TP2 there is also a reference (which I am sure it is) of The Division Bell, though this time no song (at least I did not find it :) )

this has to be the best, funnest to do, most fucking awesome easter egg ive ever seen

I love that game and I'm a huge Pink Floyd fan, so right now, i love the game even more.

So weird, It's like a "change all the notes" but keep the feel cover version. Fun tho!

I did this differently; I snuck two boxes into that part, and while the first box was in the air, I jumped from one box to that box, then took the second box over. This way was definitely easier. I did this in the dead of night, and it's already kind of a tense, unnerving game, so it freaked the hell out of me that I was launched so violently to end up in a mysterious, dark cave when most of the game takes place outdoors. Their extremely blunt grandiose references are hilarious though. But this game is so unnerving.

I'm not sure how you did it (where did you sneak which boxes?) but yeah there's multiple ways. Easiest is to go on top of the temple walls and jump across some temple blocks to find _another_ hidden fan, take it and jump directly into the hole where you place the fan. Should the jump fail, you can still take a block like in this video or take the block from one of the other puzzles (I forgot the name)

I just found this on my own without prior knowledge of this easter egg. Awesome!

There is actually a fan top of that archway thing you swam under. After you climb on top of the wall, you do some leapfrogs from pillar to pillar until you're on top of that structure. You can take the fan and jump onto the mechanism.

You can also get there by jumping on the wall to the right and then follow on the pillars; That way you don't have to carry any items with you;

@@Almond_ESQ yeah, the fan which they use in the video is the one that's supposed to be used for the star at the top of the obelisk in the center of the map, I think. So they prepared a separate fan for you at the end of the pillar jumps.

I'd played the game through once already, but didn't figure out how to use the fan to get the cube out of the sub level that was needed for this easter egg until yesterday, during my second play through. It would have been awesome to be able to redirect the white beam using the reflector needed for the star (which I carried with me into the secret) to play different tunes. :) At any rate as a guitarist and Gilmour fan, worth the effort.

No one seems to comment on the reflection in the prism itself. It seems like some sort of cathedral. Is this another reference to something PF related? I'm not familiar with them enough to know! My curiosity is killing mehh

nice catch! not sure if its a pf reference. could be referencing the church in world c? but its a different color scheme seems like *shrug* would be nice to hear if anyone else has any ideas on that

I've found hidden audio from The Wizard of Oz in Dark Side of the Moon and used this to find a sync that matches the movie music as well as the video. Same with The Wall and Alice in Wonderland, and Animals and Animal Farm. All posted on my channel.

I don't know why the chose soycd instead of breathe because I would have made more sense since it's from dark side. The reference is still cool none the less
