THE GAME IS AMASING........REALLY. this combination between historical....religious and modern facts is unique . WELL DONE DUDE.

at 22:10 you have a real problem solving this puzzle and you abandon it, yet when you come back here a little later, you'll solve it immediately. I think it's because learning happens in stages, and the difficulty gradually increases. The problem is a little earlier, at 16:30, instead of doing them from easiest to hardest, in the order that was naturally in front of you, you went to the furthest one to your left to start with the one that is perhaps the most difficult for a beginner. I hope you enjoyed the experience, it's sometimes difficult but always satisfying to find the solution.

been waiting for talos 2 since the first one. just started the demo, am not disappointed so far

Looking great! Loving the whole ambience, music, level design, graphics and updated puzzling mechanics, ...it certainly has a lot to live up to, I'd argue the first one is the best puzzle game ever, topping even Portal 2.

I am glad I am not the only one who thinks so. Talos was so much more fun and challenging than Portal 2 to me

This is one of those videos that I want to see, but also not because of the spoilers. After 4 and a half minutes I decided it’s best to just wait for the release date and see it for myself

4090, yep! Played the demo. I have 1060 and the FPS is criminally low. Top notch gameplay and story, but zero optimization.

It is not unoptimized, it it just utilising modern features of UE5. It looks miles better than a lot of older games & has no lod pop-in. 1060 is an 8 yr old card that wasn't exactly top of the line when it came out, you can only expect to get so far on old hardware without downscaling and running min settings, and even then... The new gen consoles using FSR3, ai frame gen and having massive amounts of vram are playing a big part in the fidelity push.

Looks amazing and the story and environments very compelling. Just a shame it's ruined by the same dull box moving fan jumping gameplay. Can understand this for part of the game but they really needed to do some completely different puzzles and perhaps some other kind of gameplay elements as it seems criminal to reduce to such repetition when the rest of the world shows such depth.

Why croteam used Unreal Engine ? What could be the problem with Serious Engine ?

the CTO from Croteam left during the SS4 development, he was the one who mostly knew what to do with the engine. That's why I think they switched to UE5

To specific , the depth and range you can jump should solve halve these puzzles but instead you need to do it X way. I played this demo , you could potentially have 4 solutions for one puzzle but it has to be done in a specific order so it actually works. Even when you did it before 4x times in a different order , no thanks to frustrating if you include physics then you need to let people do whatever instead and not deny any solution they come up with , this is why portal is jus tbetter im sorry not very excited after the demo more banging my head then having fun.

CroTeam should have given the demo to me, I'd have done a speed run, LOL

Ancient aliens the game😂

Lumen in this game was really disappointing, global illumination has huge artifacting problems. Starting to think that UE 5 was a mistake, because Robocop demo had bad artifacting aswell, especially in reflections. BTW, the best way to play this on a 4090 is to use DLDSR at 2880p and DLSS on balanced, looks and runs quite a bit better than native.
