The Supremes, along with Motown's Funk Brothers, created the magical sound that made this song a number one hit...I stretched it...

Feeling good in 2022, who's with me man
A bit of trivia: Come See About Me was a number one song for the Supremes TWICE! It went to number one in early Dec. 1964. As it gradually decended, the Supremes made their first appearance on the Ed Sullivan show singing this song. After that appearance, the song regained momentum and returned to the number one slot! The first time around it knocked the Beatles out of the number one spot; the second time, the Rolling Stones!
Just in case you didn't know, the owner of this channel, mosogotam, whose real name is John Perrone, sadly passed away April 5, 2020 from COVID-19. He was an absolute genius for this and all the other wonderful tracks he created. May he rest in peace.

I'm Still Jamming To The Supremes!!!! 😎
I grew up in a small Midwest town of 3 thousand people. My dad was the only paid firemen of the volunteer fire department. He had an old beige Philco tube AM radio he would have on in the fire station... I was seven or eight, and we lived in that old two room fire station. It was cold in the winter, and hot in the summer...but it was the best years of my life. I was seven or eight when this was on the radio waves. Thank You Diana and the Supremes to let me relive those best of days!!! I'm a old white man who wishes music like this would come back. The golden era of African-American music. Just the best.

STILL A GREAT SONG, MOTOWN FOREVER IN MY HEART!!!!
The Songbirds of Motown and also of so many hearts. The Supremes! ♥️💯🌹
circa 1967 South Central Los Angeles on a street with perfectly green manicured lawns out in front of my parents house on a sunny Saturday morning, I`m eleven years old washing my Dads white 1964 Chevy Impala while the car radio is tune to radio station KGFJ and what`s playing ......The Supremes come see about me. Oh the Memories!!
One of my favorite songs by The Supremes! Great vocals! Awesome musical accompaniment! Motown rocked this country in the 1960s! Motown songs seem to be timeless and so fun to listen to after 50 years when they were originally recorded!!!

More IN DEPTH study needs to be done on The Supremes and how they impacted the music industry and pop culture as a whole! Everytime you turn around there's something about The Beatles.. The Supremes deserved just as much attention and respect! 12 NUMBER ONE SONGS ON THE BILLBOARD HOT 100 is no easy feat! NO MUSICAL/VOCAL GROUP to this very day in December 2020 has been able to achieve that!
I have been watching and listening to this video off and on throughout the morning after hearing about Mary's death. My very favourite Supreme song....it's a gem. I have always found this particular song "timeless". I remember when I first heard it on the radio back in January 1965...I loved it immediately! That sound, the lyrics, the vibe....so awesome to dance to! Love this extended version to "Come See About Me". RIP dear Mary.

@Roshanda Mills Hi! I was a Freshman at Rutgers, and my Sophomore Roomate would round up and fill up his new Pontiac with classmates, roll to a Pizza Parlor, with the Supreme's blasting away, and come back and keep me away play Hearts till 3 AM. Of course, I was a pre med student, had 8 o'clock classes, and he had all his classes arranged so he didn't have to get up till noon. OH the sleep depravation! But it stood me in good stead going thru OCS at Pensacola NAS, class of 1369. Oh the age of Classic Rock, being young then, except for the devastating war, it was the greatest time to be there then, and then, it was all gone. Poof!
