Man I remember the chills I got when Griffin went "bad luck" and this started playing

It was the first time I got properly choked up listening to TAZ, and I said out loud to nobody "Griffin how dare you!"

I went through a rough break up in Sept 2021. We were long distance but we had been together for three years and I loved him a great deal. When it was over, I found myself alone in the Midwest without my family or my friends. I was really lost and kind of stranded. My sister started calling me every day to talk. She sent me coffee money so that I knew someone was still thinking of me. She made me playlists to listen to, and she made me laugh always. At night, I would go running, and I would turn this song up to full blast in the final mile, and think about how beloved I was, even when I felt completely untethered. Boys are liminal sometimes-but sisters are forever and always.

The hints of the Wonderland themes in this are fantastic

"You landed on skull in the last round, didn't you?" "Yes." "....Bad luck."

I love how the hopeful melody fades in as the soft piano then builds and swells into something triumphant

One of the best songs in the album

Love how much emotion the mcelroys bring out, even without the music. It amazes me how much griffin can pull at their heartstrings with just his words
