And fuji and green would def beat old rayleigh. They are super slept on and they have op devil fruits. Green was able to easily beat weevil, king and queen (both a bit injured but nonetheless) and deal with all the scabbards, dragon momo and yamato all at once with little difficulty.

There are 3 possibilities for me, who could be the true "lurking legend" Eiichiro Oda has revealed some years ago. I have 3 characters: - IM Sama - Rocks D. Xebec - Kong In my opinion, Rocks D. Xebec is the most probably option for me to be the lurking legend. The second most probably option for me is IM Sama. The last candidate is maybe Kong, but it would be so cool, if Kong would be the lurking legend for the straw hats 🤔

To me, Kong always seemed like he fell somewhere between Garp and Sengoku, at least as far as temperament goes. More duty minded than Garp, but less rule bound than Sengoku

It's an okay assumption. But who knows really, for the moment I still think it's Garp. For all we know Kong is strategist or something

A fanfic I saw a while back had Kong with the Hito Hito Model Wu Kong, it had a unique ability of Monkey See Monkey Do where he could completely replicate any move set. Swords, staffs, spears, fist, feet. They all could be replicated with just a single look to perfection.

I believe Kong is like Garp to Shanks, his grandfather in the marines/world government. Maybe taking on a role as one of the few world nobles active in the marines and in upholding their system of power.
