Everything's perfect until sengoku.. keep in mind Sengoku is known to have fought the likes of Roger and Whitebeard in their primes while Prime Akainu struggled against a sick, and wounded Whitebeard.

Contra to that: Sengoku had to live in a world with the likes of Roger, Whitebeard, Xebec therefor automatically had to grow up stronger cuz regular fighting with them. Akainu proably never had such strong oppents to train with, also Whitebeard is proably even in his old form just a bit weaker than in his younger days. Nonthenless I agree Sengoku should've been A tier, age doesn't mean anything in OP (Rayleigh, Kaido, Big Mom, Garp as examples)

Kizaru is in my opinion the most interesting one because he says things like "oh do you want me to go to wano" while big mom and kaido are both there and you could consider this a bluff but we haven't really seen what kizaru is truly capable of because he is always NOT serious regardless of the situation..although he has the df and power to back it up..I feel like a serious kizaru is a terrofying being

Fujitora is really a monster. Gravity is something that can fuck up anyone including light opponents like Kizaru. Even though Fujitora is quite a monster the way to nerf him indirectly is to have him being a good guy and never going all out. Can you Imagine if Fujitora had Akainu's behaviour? I think Fujitora is the strongest admiral by power alone, but narratively is Akainu.

I think Sengoku is too low here. Yeah he might be a bit old, but well basically all Yonkous, except Shanks, & Garp are also old and yet they are extremly powerful. Whitebeard only called him & Garp by their actual names, which shows some sign of respect. I do think he didn't fight a long time and if he had to fight he didn't need to use his powers which, to me, just shows that he is strong even without using his abilities. I would proably still make him A tier, B at worst, pretty sure he can go head to head with all admirals, if he has to,

Sengoku's power was even complimented by Roger himself, as he said to marines to bring either sengoku or garp to capture him.

I think if sengoku ever fought seriously he would be stronger than most admirals, but we don't really know because even in the summit war arc he barely even lifted a finger. He was never directly attacked, he only tried to attack someone else a couple times, and at the end of the war he decided to simply take the victory and stop attacking the retreating pirates. We have simply never seen his abilities to any meaningful extent.

Currently? Most likely not. Pre time skip he and garp were the stronger the all the admirals. Post time skip they outpaced him. Current admirals like Kizaru arr fighting Yonkou's, old Sengoku has no chance against a Yonkou.

I believed that Kizaru was the strongest amongst the current age of admirals. That changed when Zephyr confronted him about his reliance on his devil fruits. It's true, I've barely seen him utilizes his haki abilities when he gets involved in fights.

No evidence, but if I had to guess, both Sengoku and Garp, despite their old age, could probably still dunk Akainu at the time of Marineford. Whitebeard almost did it while sick and without haki (or at least greatly weakened haki). These two are literally the marine counterparts to the legends that were Roger and Whitebeard.

My favorite admiral is probably Kizaru btw I just realized that Fujitora is the only admiral that doesn’t have a logia devil fruit

When they first introduced Ryokugyu (Green Bull) I was so hyped and how he was getting along with Fujitora (Issho) then it seemed like his personality went a full 180. One moment being all calm and collected then all of a sudden being like Akainu and then humbly getting put in place by Shanks. Like I have higher respect over the other admirals than him now at this point.

@@jaidensantoyo8085 Yeah, I understand Admiral’s are normally only sent to an island when pirates are stirring up drama, but when Greenbull went to Wano I just felt like he was wayyy to cocky. For example when the SH’s met Aokiji after LRLL he actually had a conversation with them & was pretty chill (no pun intended) before fighting them. But Greenbull went to Wano with nothing but destruction on his mind lol

I heard that Aokiji single handedly defeated Blackbeard’s crew only leaving him left. By that alone, Blackbeard ended up convincing him to join his crew.

Actually being able to sense clouds is probably very useful skill as theoretically he can sense when storms are brewing

The kizaru vs Rayleigh fight was ray holding him back and kizaru concerned about the situation and he cant just be offgaurded against ray so it wasn't really a fight ( also Rayleigh swam from a eiland to another trough the calm belt )

Most people downplay admirals due to the following reasons 1. Narrative wise the yonkos should be stronger than admirals and admirals should be stronger than the commanders of yonko. Thats because oda introduced the admirals(excluding people like sengoku and garp) such that they can stop powerful entities such as yonkos.. (that means atleast they can fight yonkos doesn't necessarily mean they should be able to kill them). The admirals have to be stronger than the strongest commanders of the yonkos(excluding benbeckman) orelse the whole purpose of introducing admirals as the strongest force of the navy would be useless. 2. Oda has mostly given screen time to the pirate side till now and very little to the navy side for which analysis of power levels is very difficult as he hasnt shown us admirals fighting with strong opponents in (on screen), except akainu vs whitebeard..

If Aokiji wasn't so lazy he would have been a great admiral

Perhaps Fuji can sense storms approaching And or perhaps, when they split as a result of a clash being a useful informant in case any battles where taking place where the eyes couldn't reach

i love Aokiji because he just has a really cool devil fruit

akainu, kizaru, and aokiji are well named. Akainu: a vicious dog, loyal to the last Kizaru: a whimsical monkey, he does what he wants, and will follow orders in his own way Aokiji: a calm bird, unlike akainu, he has a differnet perspective on things, a "bird's eye view" of sorts

well, watch kung fu hustle and the final attack used in that movie, then escalate the damage to the point that entire islands can be buddha palmed. rough estimate for sengoku would be in between A & S. A+ maybe?

Funny fact: during marineford Akainu tells Ace he relies on his Logia fruit too much And like 10 mins later Akainu says he hates Haki users

Prime sengoku was admitted by roger himself that the marines need to send him so they can have a chance to win in my opinion that is enough reason to put him in the s tier

Remember sengoku stopped garp with 1 hand. Garp confidently will kill akainu, which sengoku knows well garp capability to do so. Even garp warns sengoku to properly hold him (using his power) else garp will still continue to dash for akainu. Garp destroys his disciples aokiji who fought toe to toe with akainu. Remember how garp says he will kill akainu? Same thing he can kill aokiji. So if sengoku could stop garp one handed without transforming, how can sengoku in C tier? The only thing he lacking is his soft heart. He’s already old he’s just 2~3 years older after the battle, he just stop using that hair dye anymore

Garp being a Haki based monster is what CAN counter Akainu s fruit and Haki as Garp with a single Haki fueled punch was able to flatten an island meaning his Haki is relative to Sengoku which makes sense considering Roger ONLY considered Garp and Sengoku capable to fight evenly with him.

@@deathlink6547 Not really, the only kills he got were from cowardice. He killed Ace while Luffy had his guard down, and as this guy mentioned, Whitebeard was weakened when he attacked him and even then he still lost. He’s just a power tripping cowards.

@@MontycelA He never lost in a straight up fight. Oda was pretty careful with how he managed that fight. When they were clashing head to head, neither made any headway, and that was BEFORE Whitebeard started showing signs of weakening due to illness/injury. The only hits either of them landed on each other were cheap shots/counters after getting hit.

Sengoku is the strongest marine besides garp who fought in the godvalley war againts rocks insane crew, also to note he single handedly was handling blackbeards entire crew, not just him, even roger said that if they wanted to capture him bring garp or sengoku.

Garp made a far more of a toll on Kuzan in a brief battle than the whole Marineford war

Wdym current state? You take admirals after TS but treat Sengoku pre TS without considering their primes. Fujitora def. belongs to A tier. Sengoku and Zephyr on S tier

Aokiji is definitely my favorite admiral/formal admiral. This man is very smart, informed smoker to bring marines to dressrosa to save everyone, killed Jozu, didn’t fight too much in marineford, and he’s probably just the laziest, coolest and funniest, at the same time. Aokiji and Katakuri are definitely my one piece favorites. He even tried to stop Akainu from reeking havoc, but lost in a 10 day battle fight.

bruh this ranking is so bad fujitora deserves A tier sengoku also deserves A tier if we're ranking solely on strength but if aggression is also taken into account then at least B tier also i feel like a few admirals like kizaru and aokiji could probably be just as dangerous as sakazuki if they were more serious and aggressive but unfortunately or fortunately, they treat it like a job and dont have the belief of absolute justice that sakazuki has

sakazuki's sense of justice is twisted as hell imo

Controversial Opiinion: Kizaru does not move at light speed. He's fast, and he can turn into light as part of his Logia fruit, but never have we seen him move at the speed of light. That we see him "disintegrate" and "reappear" while other characters are still moving, rather than an instantaneous transmission tells us as much. Not an issue, but for power scaling purposes it's important to not think he's just popping around the battlefield in an instant.

I agree. Kizaru's ability is a bit underwhelming since he's supposed to be able to control light, so doesn't that mean he can move at light speed? Nope. But I do understand why Oda had to nerf his abilities, cause if Kizaru could travel at the speed of light, he'd be able to circle around the globe 7 times in only one second. 7 times... yeah that'd be too OP

Kizaru is arguably S tier he just holds back and don't take things serious. Imagine being able to use your power move light speed and blitz entire armes he seems to target one he lacks the motivation with his fruit but if he ever goes all out. i get it though you going by what you seen. But I'm telling you if he goes all out I think its nightmare fuel and his fruit is what I would rather have. No one could touch you unless you allow it.

kizaru cant actually move at light speed he can only move at the speed of thought, or the speed at which his brain can send electrical impulses to his body parts he claims he can move at light because, without such a limitation, he technically could move at light speed either that or he just thinks he can move at light speed even though he cant because humans cant actually distinguish between such high speeds anyway

I think that kizaru, out of all the admirals (exept sengoku prime ofc) is the strongest one. He is the only marine that went out of the war unharmed (and i mean literally unharmed, dude hasnt had a scratch on him). Also i think he is to laid back. He doesnt give a f... to anything and i think if he goes all out, its game over. I hope we see him fihgting soon in the manga with saturn🔥

Dude...Akainu pre time skip soloed Old white beard for most of the fight, he even gave Whitebeard a life threatening wound that only took one punch from Akainu. Whitebeard fucked Akainu up and then Akainu got up like in 30 seconds to resume his attacks. Kaido and Big mom would lose to Akainu, that is how it is. Even if you are the "hur durr team pirate yonko are the best" narratively Akainu would be stronger than yonkos because he is a goal that luffy must overcome. Now Luffy is a yonko yet he has to beat a single admiral in combat. There is a reason why Oda chose to take down the yonko first efore the marines....... The marines are the real powerhouses. The pirates have the yonko and pirate king. The marines have the admirals, fleet admiral, Kong who is the chief, the Gorosei and imu...I MEAN come on.

There is also former Fleet Admiral Kong but he has yet to reveal what his powers are. He is also very old, at least the same as Sengoku (though he appears to be in pretty good shape), though I guess he's mainly relegated to a role as a desk job.

For me kuzan might be very strong if he got stronger

My theory is that the reason that Aokiji lost to Akainu was that Akainu awakened his conquerers haki near the end of the fight.
