I have never used the metal tool to spread the glue just makes it a one time use item and I also always leave the plastic film on the patch unless it has sat for long enough to completely dry.

I remove the film with a razor before i glue the patch to the tube.

I'll stay with the hand pump - I can inflate as many tyres as necessary with that. Using liquid chalk pens to mark the position of the puncture seems like a great idea.

They are available in almost every bike shop in Ukraine, and they are imported to our country in bulk. In fact, any similar ones will do.
before i only use those cheap made in china patch that i buy on aliexpress, and they were good...now they dont stick good anymore
