Magnus Carlsen is many things. He was an unbelievable prodigy, a grandmaster at 13. He was a five-time world champion with a decade long reign. He is, to many, the face of chess.
Magnus Carlsen made chess history, and when chess changed, he changed with it.
But the king of chess didn’t just change the game forever, he also brought the dark side of chess into the light, for everyone to see.

Peak Magnus is crazyyy😮 never get bored of it, he's so strong. He's the best player ever as a whole, every format. He is just the goat, could be arguably but in my book, theres doubt. Even in online he did continue dominating. Only thing he doesnt dominate is bullet and TT because of Naka but dmn, but he's unpredictable af, he can play bullet against Naka tomorrow and win. I just don't get how people cant understand that, he's born different.

@@Arun_Baliga That's a bit harsh in my opinion. However I do agree that Fischer didn't prove that he could consistently play at this level which Carlsen has proven. Also the pool of players in the 60s and 70s was much smaller than today so Carlsen has had to face much stiffer resistance to keep his no.1 spot compared to Fischer just because of the statistical variability of having more players i.e. stronger players to play against.

Name another one game that is out there for as long as chess? Please keep making more of these videos as I love to watch stories made by this channel and a lot of people love chess more than any other game including me. And maybe try covering Bobby Fischer , Mikhail Tal and some others too please :D

Magnus is a boy's name with Latin origins. In Latin, this name is a direct translation meaning “greatest”. Magnus is a popular name throughout Scandinavia and was first introduced to the region by the Norwegian king, Magnus I This man's parents already foreshadowed what magnus was going to become.

Magnus Carlsen The Rebel King of Chess grand master at 13 wow ...he must follow the rules of chess yes it must be. But he is so good so I think chess rules must bend or change a bit for him and all how to play the great game. So they must see if what he see is wrong or right so then they must see if the chess role is up to standard for him and all. if he walks out on a major game he loses in at the same time the chess organizers don't really understand why maybe. maybe it must be to better prepare and better Technology and it can also help them to see if a player is in the wrong ?! I'm a newbie in chess and always play the game to learn from all these great players and all the chess peeps really nice community...smiles !!
