If you are a victim of domestic abuse, please reach out to someone for help. Please call the national domestic abuse hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE. That’s 1-800-799-7233 or go to thehotline.org to chat with someone online. The great thing about this website is that, at any time, hitting the escape key twice will instantly take your browser to a google search page. In the event the abuser is nearby, you can ensure that you don’t get caught trying to get help.
If you are having feelings of harming yourself or someone else or even just need someone to talk to, please contact your local mental health facility, call 911 or call Mental Health America who operate the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK. That’s 1-800-273-8255. They’re available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  • @power-of-overdrive

Exactly... that's because even though some people are unfortunate and cannot find a long-term partner, or have trouble dating, they are still good people at heart and do not blame others for this hardship. And then there are crazy psychos like this guy. And unfortunately there's a fair amount of them among men and women. As a straight woman, the straight guys who think like this Yust guy are extremely scary. They'll try to befriend you, find out personal information about you and then ask you out -- and if you reject them, you live in the fear that they will one day show up at your door step or at work, and kidnap or straight-up murder you. As a teenager I was stalked by another teenager who was a rapist. In my mid-20's, a male friend and colleague roofied my drink and tried to get me into his friend's car. Recently another "friend" turned out to be a creep. At this point I'm getting scared to be friendly to guys my age unless they're not sexually interested in women. I do not mean to offend you guys because you're all obviously cool people and I wish the best for you. But I'm all that my mother has and if something happened to me, she'd go to an early grave. I can't afford to trust any men anymore.

Lady gets beat down verbally, emotionally, psychologically and physically so much and so often, she develops victim's syndrome and finds it nearly impossible to leave said abuser because she is so completely fearful he will seriously harm her. I escaped with my life and was lucky. It's very, very hard to leave an extremely abusive man. I filed over 50 police reports, prosecuted him twice for battery, miscarried a baby from the above, had my arm broken, had entire stores full of people rally to call the police and protect me from a ranting monster more than a few times, and still was afraid. The ONLY thing that got me away from him was FINALLY getting angry and fighting back. It could have cost me my life, but I survived, got lots of counseling, and have thrived. Leaving is not always a choice. Many, once they make the choice, are killed. I was lucky.

I hear u, especially when she didn't pick up her latest paycheck from Popeye's chicken, had no more cellphone activity, left her smokes, iPod, clothes, makeup, and left her debit card in her school locker...if a 17 yr old girl was to pick up and leave town or want to disappear she definitely wouldn't of left all of her belongings behind, especially her paycheck and debit card!? Also, all of the people who said that Kylr confessed to them about murdering her and exactly how he did it should have had sworn affidavits done by the investigators. When there is more than one person coming to the police station telling them that Kylr confessed to them then there is definitely something going on. You act as if police only investigate white ppl missing… that’s absolutely not the case. The reason most poc aren’t found/cases aren’t solved is because of “the culture”. Black on black crimes go unsolved bc no one cooperates with law enforcement or “snitches”. This allows criminals to remain in communities and do more harm. So before you want to say police don’t care, let’s talk about the lack of cooperation and how most black people who are killed are killed by another POC. BLM set police stations on fire but aren’t rioting and burning down trap houses. I guarantee ppl know who killed both of these young men found but won’t cooperate and snitch

The police need to take all disappearances seriously from the moment anyone is reported missing. By the time they get involved it's usually too late! If it turns out the person is ok, great. If not, then maybe they won't be two steps behind the killer!!!

I feel Kansas police are akin to Florida. They had just about everything shoved into their faces and still did nothing. However. What most people don't seem to understand is. Parents report their children missing all the time. Even adults. More often than not the child/adult. Returns. But no one lets police know this fact. So they are out looking for a non missing person. If police were to search for every single person reported missing. It would be their only job. Then when people need emergency assistance police would be too busy searching . Then every one would be complaining about how their emergency was more important than a missing adult! Its a catch 22 Why this disappearance and subsequent assailant was ignored is just plain laziness on police. I have seen police jump on out of town husbands when I wife is found murdered quicker then the obvious pointing and admission of this clown. Hopefully he gets life. It was a blatant slap to police that the moms didn't acknowledge their work. Or lack thereof . Good for them. Many thoughts to the families.

Leaving an abuser dramatically raises the risk of being seriously harmed or murdered, and when men can get by with repeatedly confessing to murdering a former significant other and face no consequences, women are essentially on their own.

Its very important for men to understand that women are not the problem in these relationships. You telling the 'ladies' to do better is not helpful. You telling men to be better is a correct response. I get that many men still think that women are the ones who need to choose better, but that's usually because men typically talk about the abuse part of the abuse, but the other part of the abuse is the overwhelming love that these men push on women, convincing them they will change, they will be better, etc. These relationships are not a man just beating the woman, its a see saw of good & bad, where the bad gets worse as it goes forward, while they usually also try to isolate the women. But if you're doing a show about how women are often murdered by men, you should become more educated on the issue.

I just wanted to say thank you for mentioning the other unsolved cases that came to light during this investigation. And thank you for sharing the number(s) for people to call, if they have any information about those cases. It's great publicity for them, which is so important when trying to solve a crime, so it's awesome that you do that. I also think it's great that you always include hotline numbers at the end of your videos. Providing information on a resource, is a great way to reach out to those who may be suffering and that is what makes your channel so special. Thanks for your amazing content and support, it's very much appreciated

This is absolutely appalling! If there are cases where social workers are now being charged for not doing their job correctly and not keeping children safe who end up murdered, how is it that cops and detectives are not getting the same push back? Blood is on their hands...how in the world did this happen?
