The Congregation of the Fathers of Mercy, which was founded in 1808, originally under the title of “The Missionaries of France.” The community was founded for the purpose of re-evangelizing the people of France after the Catholic Faith had been subjected to years of attacks and persecution during the French Revolution. It is now exclusively an American community. The Generalate of the Congregation is located in Auburn, Kentucky. The primary apostolate of the Fathers of Mercy is to conduct parish missions and retreats throughout the United States and other countries when called upon. The Congregation also staffs rural parishes in the Archdiocese of Louisville, Kentucky.

Father thank you so much for helping me and all of us to see the way. We need to be reminded sometimes that love is the most important in all things we do. When we show love to all, we show the love of Jesus. Your homily teaches so much and I really needed to hear this today. Thank you ❤

Another excellent homily. Of course everyone needs to hear this first and foremost to understand how much God loves each of us regardless of the circumstances. But, I think we need our clergy to temper the positive, hopeful readings with the not so cheerful side....For God so loved the world.....yes.... but continue to verse 18, 19, 20.... whoever does Not believe is condemned already..... people prefer darkness to light, etc....hell exists and it is human beings who choose that path for themselves and God respects our freedom to permit us to choose to turn away....God is merciful of course....but Mercy Demands Justice.... keep that in mind...

💯 truth!! Love is greatest for God is love and he who loves knows God. This love isn’t the love the world teaches but the perfect love of God. For if we do not love then we don’t know God and neither does he know us: Thank you Fr Andy. I have one year in bills to pay off and then I’m free from any financial obligations so I ask all to please pray for me so that I may not hardened my heart when God calls me to serve him and neighbor. Amen

@@josephcioppa1943 NO! I'm in the Catholic Church. Ya know? The one that began and was established by Jesus Christ. As a Catholic, I'm obediant to His Church and the Chair of Saint Peter. I'm not going to take a trip back to the 1960's and pretend that's the Church Jesus established. When you scorn our Pope and celebrate a Mass long replaced, you've put yourself outside the Body of Christ. God help you!!
