Agreed. Unlike other musicians, singers do have an expiration date. I think James has reached his. I've been a DT fan almost since the beginning. I've seen them live twice. I don't think I'd pay for another ticket to see them with James. It's just too cringy.

Devin's been doing this for 35 years... he's just a freak of nature for sure...
Tosin and John man 🥹🙏🏼
When you realise Devin could've guested on guitar _as well_ but was merciful.

@@jkol323not a bad take actually. Mike is an incredible musician. Give him a tuba and he'll squeeze something amazing out of it.
Who's playing drums?
Devin is 10x better then James.
Labrie sings 🙉🙉🙉🙉🙉🙉🙉🙉🙉🙉 Devins singing is 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max. I had an iPhone 7 before, and I had similar audio issues in the past as what you described.

It’s only a 5,000-seat theatre and probably wasn’t sold out. It’s also a sit-down historic theatre and the vibe isn’t to jump around, mosh and be rowdy lol.
I was in Laval Canada for the show...i ve always defended labrie s singing was painfull to my ears...the contrast with devin was sad in a way

I've always tried to defend Labrie but for years now, I just can't
Nico?!
The next time with Anneke too T.T
I saw them in Sugar Land, and Devin absolutely blew James out of the water. It looks like it's the same story no matter what town they're in. It's like I told my friends: Of the three bands, Dream Theater had the weakest vocal performance. No disrespect to their history, because I love Dream Theater, but James can't sing anymore.
Labrie is singing flat...Townsend is on key
That's not Mike Mangini, he's drumset is tiny as F*
Interesting guests, but Devin is just too capable compared to current-day Labrie.
bruce willis sing while jesus plays lead guitar... 😅
Intro reminds me a lot of Auld Lang Syne
just realised it's Danny Carey on the drums

Basta de Le Brie!. Bienvenido Devin!
Put your phones down ffs.apart from the nice person who recorded this.
Sorry! I'm not into it. Is voldemort singing?
Every single person on and off the stage is a better singer than Labrie, at least that evening. Not sure about few other nights.

Labrie is incredibly talented, but he's definitely had his share of physical struggles to keep up with his inner voice... but comparing any vocalist to Devin just isn't fair lol.
Devin is great. Labrie is emarassing, he is great singer in the studio, but live performances are often indifferent.
Nothing personal against the guy, but LaBrie has no business charging money for his performances, he's just barking instead of singing, and if the band is going to continue to tour, they need to replace him. It just was very awkward listening to him and it wasn't enjoyable.

that's why Portney left
I don't know the format of this tour. I imagine they play together some songs. Right? not all of them of course. Can we know if Devin chose to perform this -freking boring- song? Can't believe he went for this one unless there are others they share the stage with...
