    I think the funniest line is when Chris and paulie are lost in the woods. They find a van freezing amd starving eating Nathan's ketchup packs. They start arguing and chris says we should have stopped at roy Rodgers. Or when Tony tells Chris he is going to take this family into the 21st century. Chris says thanks but we are already in the 21st century tony

    AGREE! 💯 It’s cool that we as the audience feel that way about a show and cast, then hearing how they were all like a family on set. That there was no jealousy or animosity, makes it even better. When Dominic starts breaking down had me 😭 I was already a little teary listening to them reminisce about him, so it didn’t take much for me to get that emotional. I’m also a softy when I see a man cry. Also, Robert telling the story on how he respected them on set as serious actors but checked up on them, not wanting them to know he did it, like they were his real kids. 🥰 ‘The Drop’ has been on FLIX and other channels a lot lately and I absolutely LOVE that movie because of Tom Hardy and James. But knowing it was his last performance makes it bittersweet.

    I LOVE how at 8:00 Sil is sitting there listening to Paulie. I know it's Stevie looking at Tony, but you can tell how naturally they came by the little things that made their characters special. Stevie's posture while he was listening is exactly like he was backing up Tony (James) in the show. Tony (Paulie) has the same sassy delivery, gift of gab, and even shoes as his character did.

  • @kimmieh8419

    @kimmieh8419

    THE SHOES!! 😂 Absolutely! I see exactly what you mean about Sil. 😂 I grew up a huge E Street band fanatic. My dad was a drummer in a band that played a regular gig at a bar in my hometown. They played a lot of Bruce. So as a little girl, starting at 4-5 years old till they broke up when I was in my 20s, I’d listen to them practice in the basement of my house, then go up to my room and put in a cassette of Bruce, Steven, Clarence, and the rest of the E band and ROCK OUT in my bedroom. 😂 So having already been a fan and knowing who Steven was, hearing how he never acted before this, and he got to act along side his wife, (not sure if you know this but his wife in the show is his actual wife IRL, she’s sitting behind Tony), is the coolest thing. I watched the show as it was airing. Waiting each week to find out what happens next was excruciating. Especially when Tony got shot! That week felt longer than the break between seasons!!!!! Thank you for commenting this. And if you do come back to read my novel, I appreciate you. 😊

    No Walter White, no Jimmy McNulty, no Don Draper...there was television before The Sopranos and television after The Sopranos. It wasn't a perfect series, but it was a landmark. It ended the era of network-TV supremacy, and so many creative people were inspired by it. Even shows that seem to have little in common with it (Game of Thrones, for example...although that does have things in common with it) are part of the wave it launched.

The fact that they clearly weren’t comfortable at the start, but when the memories flooded in and some ice was broken, i saw a ragtag bunch of great people who enjoyed their work through thick and thin. James will forever be with us, but not like they knew him. Thanks for this, 4 years off from the original interview date - this made us all warm, fuzzy and nostalgic at heart! I watched this show when it was airing and have binged watched it an embarrassing number of times since. It never gets old. I love it more each time. It’s amazing what I missed back then to when it was available in box set of the seasons on VHS, (which I still have today), I would rewatch it and catch things and be like WAIT WHAT?! 😂 Seeing them all together like this is like reuniting with favorite relatives you grew up with but moved away and now you’re all together again. I didn’t feel like I was watching a video, I felt like I was in the studio with them. They have that way about them that pulls you in….just when you thought you were out. (I know, wrong show, but I couldn’t resist😂) It was so nice to hear that they were a family off set. No jealousy, no animosity, just love all around. When Vincent was talking about being on 2 seasons, he gives so much love for even being on the show. Not upset he got whacked so early. Tony talking about how David wanted him so bad that he wrote in a part that ended up being so huge to the show. I could go on and on but this turned into a novel so I won’t. You all get it anyways. Everyone involved in the making of this show hit it out of the park. Casting, writing, directing….all magic. RIP James and Tony and any others that have passed on after this. You’ll all live forever in our hearts because of the work you did and I for one, THANK YOU! ❤
