About The Single Plane
The Single Plane golf swing is not a quick fix golf technique. It is a system, beginning at address, that simplifies the most important moment of the golf swing - impact.
Starting at address on two planes where the arms hang straight down at address, the Conventional golf swing is complicated. Because the arms are hanging straight down, a conventional golfer must lift the body into impact creating stress on the back.
This upward movement to accommodate the two planes is unnecessary.
The Single Plane Golf swing simplifies the golf swing by eliminating the need for the upward movement by starting and impacting on the same plane.

I've been following Todd for 5 years. I'm now 60. About 6 months ago, I also signed up for the Academy. I use the portal to watch his videos. I use the coaching app to upload my swing. The only regret is that I didn't join sooner. I went from a 16 to an 11 and my swing is more solid than anytime in my life. I'm looking forward to this golf season more than ever. I feel like I'm going to continue to improve. 80% of my time working on my swing is devoted to setup. The remaining time I spend working on putting. If you want to improve or you're just starting out, I strongly encourage you to follow and join. In the end, it's just about having more joy when taking that walk on the course each day.

Todd, thank you very much. I downfall from 70s to 80s score card then deep to high 90s to 100 due to hip injury. Then 3 weeks ago I started to follow your videos of legendary Moe's swing and your teaching, 02 games since, I inked 83 and 85. That brought back the joys of golf again. My heart-felt thanks to you and the team behind all the making of the great videos.

I’ve been a Single Plane member for 6 years. Tried it on my own for 2 years and finally went to a 3-day camp 4 years ago.-been to 4 others since. The professionalism, competence, passion and CONSISTENCY of Graves SPS instruction is unparalleled. If you can accomplish it by yourself, good for you! If you need professional help…sign up for a class.

Been watching Todd’s videos for awhile. My iron play has improved tremendously with the single plane. Still working on woods, hit or miss right now. But with enough practice, I know it will get better. The best instruction on you tube

Wondering if Todd and Tim got an invite to Good Good Desert Open? Would have been epic to watch you kick the butts of other KZread creators with SPS.

An additional benefit. 3 years ago I was ready to quit because of back pain. I switched to the SPS from a 100% conventional swing by joining the GGA and getting the proper information and instruction. At 70 y.o., I now play pain-free, over 100 rounds a season with a 6 hdcp (6300 yd. course). Without Todd and the coaches, I would no longer be playing the game I enjoy so much. Thanks.

Received your Lock n' Roll putter and love it. I have never made so many putts on the practice green. It took me a few minutes to decide the best way to hold it, but after I settled in and got use to it, it was amazing. I made at least 8, 35 ft putts, where as with my other putter would be lucky to make one or two. I can't wait till I get really comfortable with it and use it on the course. I could see a few people wanting to see what I was putting with when I was not only making more putts, but leaving my missed putts just inches away. So glad I got one.

One tip I recently found very useful in the backswing to point of trail arm folding that helped me duplicate Todd's shoulder/torso rotation bck, is to employ the Ben Hogan method of pulling the elbows together. Reversing this in the downswing feels too robotic, but certainly helps to keep the backswing on plane along with rotation; otherwise I tended toward all arms and inconsistency. It helps in my case at least.

Noticed that the alignment and ball position trainer is much closer to the ball than previously seen and a club is used for alignment near the feet. Is this something new? Thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Love the music analogy. The other point of that analogy is that the only way you learn to play music once you learn to play is repetition repetition repetition.

I've had a very frustrating couple of days on the range, I keep blocking it to the right. I'm wondering is this because I'm not allowing my hands to turn over (I don't mean manipulating the clubface, I mean the natural turning over of my hands). I think I'm subconsciously suppressing this movement. Could this be it? Many Thanks. Tim

I started the single plane last week and so far i have hit some of the straightest balls in my life. Occasionally though i will pull balls leftward, i think from the stronger grip turning over? Any tips on that?
