Cant believe im commenting to thank you for a sponsor, but you brought the site to my attention and got my 2 new PC builds up and running with Windows 10 Pro for $30 for 2 copies. The timing was perfect.
I've been looking for something exactly like this. Thank you!
I have wanted to build this exact system for so long, can't believe you did it first. ITS PERFECT. Now its more tempting than ever.

I need this in my life. Having a full tower pc is a big no even a medium one will still get you in a major trouble, but this. this is perfect and pairing it with a pair of ar glasses like xreal air is just chef's kiss.
Very nice. That was the system I wanted to build 5 years ago, but it's finally here. I might feel inspired and give this another shot.
Such a nice mini PC! I used to build a typical middle tower for myself, but will definitely consider mini ITX for the next one
Thanks a bunch will try to build this been looking for a nice small factor gaming pc was going to settle for a pre-built mid tower but this guide saves me the time and I can build it myself with my kid
Really like this build. Glad to see AM5 mini-itx boards coming down in price.

lovely little PC - not usually a fan of these smaller builds but this just really appeals to me. Very nice!
Great assembly!!!! thank you !
really liking it. can't wait to build something this small some day.
Very clean good work brother! I might have to put one together for myself
ETA bruhda, your works are inspiring man! I love these builds here! Keep it up!
very nice! I was checking out this board as well. crazy to see it "irl" lol it's so much smaller than i thought it was.
Super clean build.
Best form factor. Love this !!!
Super impressive mini build there dude !!
Awesome content as always.
The camera makes everything look so small! Nice build.
This case is something special. It's the perfect ITX + LP card set up. I suspect, as you mentioned, you could use a pico or a little GaN PSU in here, but a 400-600w Flex is nice. I can see several nice Intel and AMD builds, I can see a nice budget rig with a super low power/efficiency CPU and maybe an A2000 to REALLY get a good performance per watt.

The way it holds the PSU with tall standoffs is interesting and haven't seen that in ITX cases before. I hope it's stable in a vertical position.

Since there are holes on the bottom of the case, I would try to put some feet on it. That would allow the GPU to draw in more fresh air.
This is my favorite PC you've built on this channel
That's a very cool build.
I've build a SFF pc too with an 13400F+32GB DDR4+RTX4070 in a Dan A4 SFX Case. It can get a lil bit louder but the performance is crazy with this size.
Very nice ETA!
Great build

You haven't mentioned noise levels for this build. Most ITX builds at this size use Flex PSUs and they can get pretty loud.

@@clorophilla I totally agree, some flex PSUs are really noisy. The Enhance Electronics ENP-7660B 600W is a good flex PSU that works low noise out of the box. There is a also modular version of this power supply available too. It's not cheap, but it works and it is quiet. You could buy a cheaper one and swap out fans, but for anyone who doesn't want to do that the EE one I mentioned is a good option.

Amazing!
Hey ETA, did you see that minusforum is releasing a motherboard and cpu combo the bd770i, i think it would be dope to see you put a build together with that combo
I just finished an SFF build like this, except I’m using the A520I board with a Ryzen 9 3950x I had lying around. The performance has been fantastic, although that Ryzen 9 runs a little too hot. I have a 5800x3D on the way to replace it, which should increase my performance and decrease my thermals. Overall I’m very pleased with the build; makes for a great living room Steam “console”.
@baka_ja_nai

But what about noise levels?
@protodevilin
8 ай бұрын
@@baka_ja_nai UPDATE (original reply below): Okay, so I switched out the Ryzen 9 3950X with a Ryzen 7 5800X3D, and I replaced the ID-55 cooler with a Scythe Big Shuriken 3 rev.2 (which baaaaarely fits in this case), and I dropped my temps by almost 20C. The setup now runs Cyberpunk 2077 at 100fps with raytracing on, and averages around 76C. It's a bit quieter, too. Very satisfied. ORIGINAL REPLY: Honestly it leans a little on the loud side. I used an ID Cooling low-profile CPU cooler, and it's pretty good at its job, but at higher RPMs it becomes noticeable from 10 feet away when there are lulls in the game audio, like loading screens and whatnot. I also added an Arctic 80mm intake fan on the front of my case to augment the airflow; it's very quiet, but not silent. I personally don't mind the fan noise at all, but if that's a concern for you, you're better off going for a slightly larger case that you can fit an AIO into for a build like this.
I would like to see you do a build with the velka v3 case and the minisform BD770i, great build BTW!
This is a eye opening build for me, this is off in the territory I've been designing in my head. I want a taller case like this, I want a Full or Mid size motherboard. Extra tall and slim just not deep (OG PS3 was a good size if that was squared off), like 80% mid tower height like that one Falcon Northwestern case with the granite base. I wish I could find one like that, that intrigues me as much as the Falcon Northwestern case does so I can do my own custom build it's way to much to buy a custom even though they are cramming the best of the best in them.
What was the total price on everything?
Very nice temps! My 5950X goes up yto 90C and my 3090 up to 78C (92C junction point) while pulling 420W+ when gaming. Overall 600-700W+ with CPU included off the wall. For my next build, ill focus more on power efficiency with a smaller PC case. 😔
I recently modified my Lenovo M720s, equipped with an I7 8700, to accept a 500w tfx power supply and a Gigagyte RTX 4060oc lp. It works wonderfully. Since the 24pin to 10pin adapter makes my fan run non-stop. I plan to replace the power supply fan with a quieter 80mm Noctua.
I bought this case, but silver version weeks ago, I've just put together a Ryzen 3700x 65w TDP and a GT610 that I had laying around, I will get the 4060 LP when it becomes available in my location. The flex atx psu is a bit noisy, so I think I will replace it's fan for a Noctua one. The case is rock solid, literally, machined Aluminum. I never had such solid case.
Hey, an even better case then this one would be the SGPC K39v2. It only has 3.9Liters and fits a standard 2 Slot GPU with up to 180mm of length so you could fit a 4060ti in it. Would love to see if it could also handle a 5800x3d or 7800x3d.
@ALmaN11223344
7 ай бұрын
It should absolutely handle either of the x3d chips, they might boost a little lower but they're less sensitive to frequency because of their massive cache.
That's the cutest graphics card I’ve ever seen! :-) That tiny case is bloody expensive.
nice work. next challenge: maximum performance without a fan
Thats exactly the type of machine i would like to build, i wish low factor components weren't so expensive
@Jimmys_TheBestCop
8 ай бұрын
Wasnt always the case but after the GTX 10xx generation gpus they stopped doing low profile and mini cards. Which raised prices on all other itx components because it became less and less common.
impressive how all those components fit in that case. Looks like harware is about $1,215 from current listings. Its unfortunate that case isn't on amazon
I would LOOOVE to build this for my xmas gift to myself. that 4060 LP does look expensive at the moment tho
the fact this smaller than the xbox s is wild
Damn nice walpaper man ❤
Do you think you could make a video on some of the best cases for the 4060 LP card? The LP 4060 is a real game changer!
As a CPU cooler I recommend the Alpenfön Black Ridge + a Noctua NF A9x14 PWM.
Very nice, must have that PSU
This would be a perfect LAN party PC.
HOW CUTE THAT 4060
Great build! Btw, where can I get that cool wallpaper?
the first seconds of the video broke me😂
Thanks for the video ;) Can you test some WII and Switch emulation on this build, please? 🙏
Wish you would do a small form factor 4k PC been waiting forever to see what you could brew up.
I'd be tempted to throw some feet on the case, just to give the gpu a little more air. Lovely little system
@xheezy
8 ай бұрын
Or just lay it flat so that the CPU also gets fresh air from the top. Tho if you have access to those little rubber feet that fits the case aesthetics that would be great as well
If that case was placed horizontally it might even have more cooling to the GPU, which is quite good already
Fucking hell, I was searching for case exactly like this, for build exactly centred around that videocard

@@Jimmys_TheBestCop yeah i thought of doing this build until, I glanced over and looked at my trinity 4080, 360 mm length 3.5-4 slot width. shitty that it so dam big. I wanted to upgrade from my 5900x and do a small mini build, but unless im gonna run a separate Gpu enclosure, im gonna be stuck with full size tower case..
i just got this case. the flex 1u PSU mounts are super delicate. 2 of mine have broke just installing then. you HAVE to make sure not to twist them too tight or the tiny endless screws that go into the bottom snap. i drilled out a hole in the back of the case bigger and ordered a pico power supply 12v 240w that should run my 12400T (35w) and Intel a380 low profile(70w). My 120w adapter can't handle the load when i fortnite. I've installed 2 80mm low profile fans in the top of the case to kick out heat. it's a nifty case.
Im sure this would be great for business use as well
Veri nice❤❤❤
Can we see emulation with this build? Nice ITX Pc though 😎

I’m doing the same build debating on changing the mono cpu combo for. A media server/gaming rig
Great build man! Did you do any PBO stuff to lower your cpu temps?
Pulls equal watt to laptop puts more performance portable as laptop.damn
Devyn Johnston's Velka 3 build: Finally, a worthy opponent! Our battle will be legendary!
Maybe try to flip the cpu fan and see if it does better pulling air through the cooler and out of the case rather than pushing it onto the motherboard

Where did you obtain the bracket to secure the power supply? At the 5:00 mark, the video shows a bracket that covers the power supply from left to right with 2 screws for the top and bottom. The aliexpress link you provided shows a different bracket which only secures the edge of the power supply which has been a concern with a few reviews where a power supply of 81.5mm would not fit with the included bracket . The included bracket on aliexpress fits 80mm power supply

make part 2 benchmark some games with/without undervolt the CPU&GPU for the best result on temperature... thanks
we need an 7600 LP considering they added AFMF on a driver level that would be great on a small build. looking to switch out the 1650 Super i got in my secondary build i cannot deal with nvidias software.
5:26 A design flaw with these cases is the 110/230 volt cable within the case. Not only is it dangerous that, in the worst case, 230 volts can reach the PC hardware. No, it can also cause severe disruptions, among other things. Because these cables often emit radio waves. Since I got the node 202, I know that I will never want that type of case again. However, there are also compact cases where the 230 volt cable ends at the edge of the case with either SFX or even smaller power supplies.... Guys, I recommend that you don't buy a case where the 110/230 volt cable goes through the case !
For best temp, possibly could to underclock/undervolt both CPU/GPU without loss performance (or just 2 at 5fps max !) For people who play at 60fps it's great. Put the eco mode on this CPU can give low temp too. Good mini PC !
My brother, if you have small PC like this, please put the CPU Fan as an exhaust since the limited intake there.
Putting the case horizontally can dramatically improve the GPU temps
With a slight undervolt in the processor and correctly adjusting some parameters in MSI afterburner you can surely reduce the temperatures a little.

In your "Top mini PCs in 2022" video you said that the MINISFORUM NUCX i7 is your daily driver despite having access to more powerful machines, emphasizing how "whisper quiet" is, but Should I choose the NUCX i7 over this 5L mini PC for both gamming and work?
