    While most people focus on how slow the speeder chase was, I was also caught off guard by how little the chase mattered. Boba Fett ends up flying over to where the guy crashes anyway, so he could’ve just stopped him earlier and saved all those livelihoods and businesses that got run over. And the only information that was conveyed was that the mayor had left. Was his consigliere not expecting Boba and Fennec to show back up? Why didn’t he leave too?

    The train battle was pretty cool looking. My only gripe is how pointless that conflict was. The train never suffered any damage from the Tusken raiders rifle shots, they should've just battened it down for 30 seconds while going by. And the Tusken raiders were basically lining up to get shot, knowing that their rifles weren't going to do much anyways. They should've just gone to the other side of the hill for 30 seconds and not waste their lives.

  • @42Nightsyesterday

    @42Nightsyesterday

    The last episode was just as bad. Cliché for one and absolutely pointless. The Tuscans instead of attacking the train could have just moved? It’s a giant open desert. Boba’s disdain for cultures that use slaves is totally hypocritical since the Tuscans use slaves brutally and only released him because he miraculously killed a giant monster. Last the train fight was ridiculous. They were on a high speed future train traveling at god knows how fast for probably hundreds of miles, only to paradoxical crash next to the Tuscan encampment again. This series is very half assed

    Don’t forget that he directed a solid episode of ‘The Mandalorian’ (Chapter 14 - The Tragedy), but I think Jon Favreau had more control over that. Whereas here, I think when Favreau wrote the script for this episode, he maybe just said that they were a gang on speeder bikes, and Rodriguez had a style in mind that Favreau wanted to allow. Big mistake. Rodriguez’s vision doesn’t work for ‘Star Wars’.

    I had this exact same thought when watching this chase and my Dad and I came to the conclusion that unlike other movies and shows, this sequence didn't get edited with speed in mind i.e motion blur, making the vehicles look fast, and practically what every other High-speed chase scene has to enhance it. in the case of Star Wars, think Endor speederbike chase. we also thought that if the only thing they added to the vehicles were tires, they would most likely look a lot faster cause theres at least be something that would help the viewer understand how fast they're going due to the speed of each rotation.
