You both have accomplished more than most people in such a short time all the while becoming a family of 5, I found you before you had the first 2 containers delivered, you were working on the barn making your home base cleaning out the space. I have enjoyed watching your journey and at this moment I feel like you’re my family, I am so proud of you and grateful that you share your adventures with us. Me also. Remember them sleeping in the barn. Kenzie cooking out there. Then the cold showers at night. Spence rigged up something later for a hot shower. I think they were in the trailer by then. It was fun watching Kenzie help Spence built that container in the beginning. Good times. Like there my memories. Always here watching. 😊

I am constantly amazed at how good these 2 crazies complement themselves....Spencer is the step-by-step straight man while Kenzie is the unsinkable up personality that has that smirk that tells you she's always up to something. Love ya guys!

What a sweet family, great children…play time- giggles - perfect.

Unfortunately, it never gets easier when your kids are sick. Ours are 10 & 14 years old. Our youngest is sick, today and she never sleeps during the day, and she did today. Pray you all get better soon.

We are a family of 3. During Covid, all of us came down with Omicron variant. We weren't sick, but 5 months after the total lockdown was lifted, we contracted Swine flu. I have never been so sick in my entire life. Longer than 4 months we coughed and sneezed and slept feeling lethargic. After 2 lots of antibiotics we still took a long time to heal. My throat felt as if it was on fire. An older friend advised me to gargle 2 to 3 times using 2 teaspoons of salt dissolved into 50 ml warm water, after which I should swallow a teaspoon of honey. Within 2 days the burning ceased. Spencer can also be affected by his constant welding. Those fumes are not good for a sore throat.

I started watching you guys about 3 years ago. I absolutely love you all of you, and get so much positivity from seeing all the trials and tribulations that you go through. What you have achieved is amazing, I hope you are immensely proud of yourselves, you should be. You are so inspirational. Can't wait to see the new baby. 🩷💙🩷💙 xxx

After having to go outside more times than you can shake a stick at. I swapped out all of the Arc Fault in my fuse box. Never had any issues afterwards.

Standard breaker for outside outlets, but you need GFi in each outside outlet.

I live on an acreage and have for over 20 years now. How I wish I had even HALF the skills that you do Spencer. I couldn't wire a full electrical box to save my life, let alone all the various tasks you need to perform to do this build. We added a 520 sq foot addition to our home and I did about half the work and hired contactors for the other half. Good for you for taking the time to learn how to do all these things. I lack the patience and attention span required lol. Great video as always guys and I hope you all feel better soon.

A way to fully empty lines for when you are not at the cabin site would be a nice idea in my book. Especially in an area you know will freeze.

You need to check the temp difference between where you live no vs in your mountain home where it will get noticeably colder, the reason being the insulation might not be enough to stop the pex lines from freezing, an alternative is maybe you could drain them with a stopcock when leaving the mountain home over winter so its less of an issue re freezing

first breaker, should be where you install the surge protector...then go down from there or up in this case . this is so when there is a surge it is the first device to hit.

I have always been impressed with the amount of welding you did with the Harbor Freight welder. I know they have greatly improved with the inverter technology, but I still think of them as a hobby welder. The Miller will serve you well. Wait until you put a gas bottle on the back, hook it to 240V, and go with solid wire. Amazing welds with very few BBs.

That Chicken Noodle soup sounds like what the doctor ordered. Kendra you take of Spencer and the kids like a momma should. Spencer you are a comedian I love your double meaning jokes. LOL! And your skills have really grown immensely the way you thought of doing the AC installation is nothing short of amazing. To help with your issue of tripping, use a 1 to 1 transformer it will buffer your surges caused by your tooling! In your case it will be 120v to 120v transformer…, here in the UK we’re 240v but we do have industrial tooling at 120v…, which we use a 240v to 120v transformer!

I hope you are taking into account of the container traveling to the property and possibility of going under low over passes. I have seen what happens when others forget that and things get ripped off the roofs.

Exterior outlets do not need an arc fault breaker. They only need to be GFCI. Either a GFCI breaker, or a GFCI outlet. Never noticed if you bonded the container to your panel in the house, I hope you do it on this cabin build.
