Hi Miles! Great video - was something that clicked for me when you said just to do a rough blog post and not having it perfect like an Instagram post or any social media post. I didn't realise you can always go back and edit them. Would love beginner seo and more strategies like these as it is overwhelming trying to figure out what is more important. It’s difficult to tell because I’m a total beginner and today when I watched this particular video of yours it clicked in my mind. I just understood what was a site map Yost and a Google search console. I have followed your steps and succeeded in linking them but I honestly couldn’t understand what it was EXACTLY for. Great stuff Miles. I like both for new sites. I have a couple sites that are a year old and just started a couple of brand new. I remember you did a video about setting up a silo site layout then doing the site map. The SEO you did with us in content creators was great. Which talked about. 1 or 3 upping our competitors with H1 H2 H3 and number of keywords. How about some advanced SEO on using images, videos, infografics, etc, with geo tags , alt tags, and souce links? Then how adding those source links / credits to link back to the source and how that may or may not pull link juice from those sites. Ie news articles and education citations. Thanks.

Quick question, on my blog, I’m planning on having a blog page AND and “daily quotes” page that has motivational quotes and my own take on them. With that said, will the webmaster pick up the daily posts on the “daily quotes” page or just the blog page? Thank you for the gift of your high quality KZread videos. Question, KZread versus articles - one could treat approximately the same subject matter with a clip or an article. Per unit of my effort, which is likely to yield better long-term value (both to me in terms of quality connection with audience and to the end user in terms of impact on their needs)? Some of both? If so, do both video and article on same subject, or better to choose one or the other topic by topic? I realize It All Depends, just looking for your general judgment.

Great Video! I've been getting link backs like crazy doing this. I have almost 10 from high authority sites in about a one month span. I have a question. Should we be "disavowing" bad links on a regular basis with the google disavow tool? I've never heard you talk about this, and was wondering if that is something we need to focus on also? Thanks!

Is it too much to ask for both beginner and advanced SEO videos? :-) But thanks for another great video! I already was motivated to write more, but this video stoked a fire

It sure what it was about this particular video, but it.....clicked. Things seem so much simpler now. Maybe I was overwhelmed with strategies for KZread and transcribing. Now I know what to do with the data I already have. Do my long tail keyword videos, evaluate stats, do more of the good stuff, transcribe, evaluate stats, fix high impression content and make it world class. When I have more money or time I can get to the details.

Super helpful, as most of your videos are. Question - if I put up a new blog post but post-date it from say - 3 months ago, does that hurt my SEO at all? I'm hoping it will have the same SEO punch as if I said it was posted today. Just trying to fill in some gaps when I didn't post to make it look more consistent 😉

ignore those gaps and publish with the correct date. You don't want to look like you're trying to get cheeky in the eyes of Google

When you loop back and update the posts that are performing, do you resubmit it to Search Console each time?

Personally, I don't. I do change the date to today's date. Google crawls my site a lot, so I don't feel I need to, but if you want, you totally can!

Hey Miles...great stuff brother! Just found you last week, unbelievable amount of value 🙏 . Similar boat as you with my GF having a massively successful blog and my business is trying to chase her down...haha. We made some SEO changes and estimated visits per month organic DOUBLED within 4 days because of big rank increases (11k to 22k/mo). UNREAL! ...and we're just getting started. Question for you: What do you think about buying existing domains with established DA scores? I know there's stuff to watch out for but seems like there's good ones out there on the cheap that could expedite rankings significantly. Thoughts?

as long as the backlink profile is clean and doesn't have a bunch of PBN or spammy back links it can be a great asset

More advanced ones. There are a lot of beginner SEO staff on the internet. They don't help us go further. Love to hear what you would show us at a more professional level.

Beginner, specifically how to evaluate if your posts work when there’s limited data, which I suppose might mean it doesn’t work. But it feels like the problem is that I make content and I look at the views and wonder if I should make more content like that or try something different or promote that more

Would like beginner, for me it’s been a dew years since I’ve needed seo for traffic to a particular site. But haven’t done any since then, so I’m sure it’s changed since then.

Hey Miles, thanks as always. I've listened to the Yaro Stark blog audiobook you recommended it and he says to do the opposite of the shotgun approach , meaning create less frequent amazing posts rather than 1 okay post daily. I completely trust u nonetheless if u say this is the best strategy. One thing I don't understand tho. How should we write these first 90 posts if the "Learn SEO In 1 Video! #1 Free SEO Training Course Online" should be done only for the popular posts that we come back to after the 90 days challenge? I'm concerned that I'm gonna write low quality posts that are gonna receive no impressions and just waste 90 days. Have a great day Miles!

Local SEO would be great.

I'd love more beginner videos on SEO and Facebook advertising, and LinkedIn advertising. Miles, I am a BIG fan, but I'm thinking you should get a team member (like one of your parents) to do any beginner videos - at a much slower step-by-step pace, just one element at a time. I'd like just one slow video on the site map, Yoast (which I find confusing) and Google Search Consol. I hope you're not offended.

I would ask for more information for beginners, only because I'm a beginner.

Great method! For my youtube channel I created 200 x 1min vlogs on a range of topics and from there I was able to discover what topics do well for me. There’s nothing like having a heap of analytics to help you make future decisions. 😁❤️👍

Hi Miles, Love your content. I have a question I would like to start a blog teaching others about finance and investing. I am trying to come up with a gameplan and just wanted to make sure if I got your message right. 1) I need to connect my blog to Google Search Console 2) I need to look for longtail keywords with a difficulty below 19 3) I have to create 90 good blogposts using these longtail keywords as fast as possible - these keywords should be little themes within my niche, meaning I will create 90 little themes within my niche, right? 4) I have to analyse my work on Google Search Console - I have to improve those posts which are getting lots of impressions - I have to create more content of those themes which are getting lots of impressions by doing Keyword Research looking for related keywords - I have to interlink those posts with each other (is that a Silo?) - after gaining authority by buillding out such a theme, I have to use that authority to link to a new theme and build that out using Keyword Research (should I use the suggested phrases from Google Search Console here or should I come up with my own Theme? If not at which point should I use the suggested/related phrases from Google Search Console?)
