    Congrats bro, just had a similar thing happen to me. I was just writing guides about niche CMS systems without even a CTA for my personal site. They reached out to me and we are in discussions. I had originally created the site and started doing a few blogs just so I could show to future employers.

    Quick question Miles. Might help others as well. Perhaps you've mentioned this before but I haven't seen it anywhere. When it comes to keyword phrases in the title of a blog post, does it matter where it's located? For example, if my keyword phrase is "Bartending School" does it matter if the title is "Bartending School - Do You Need it?" or Do You Need Bartending School?" Is it better to have it at the front, or does it not matter? Thanks.

    Great video Miles! QUESTION: Can the Title Tag that shows on Google be a bit different to my H1 Tag? Example: I want the title of my post to be "What are the best table tennis paddles you can buy online in 2020?" Since that's too long for the Google search page (60 characters max), I would change the title tag via rank math or toast for example to "Best table tennis paddles online" but keep the H1 in it's long form on my post.. Is that ok or does it have a negative effect?

He suggests the way to outrank top results is to provide so much more content that Google can't ignore it and must include it in the SERP. Thoughts?

    I've watched a lot of vids of Neil P, but the more you learn, the less you pay attention to him... Nop, the main task of your content is to answer the query or demand of you clicker, and you don't always archive that with more and more and more content. Learn about user intent, that's my recommendation. Have a nice day :)

    Hey Miles, As I was analyzing the competition for a certain keyword phrase, only the first two results on the first page are with the title I was looking for. Only the first post actually has content related to title, and the rest of the post content is mostly irrelevant to the title. All the posts have 0 repeated keyword phrases...Other posts on the first page are not answering the searched question but giving you general info about it (I was searching a particular dog breed). Does this mean that there’s actually no good quality content for the particular question asked and Google is giving you whatever content is the closest to it..? Thank you for your time to read the comments! I would appreciate the answer, but I also understand that you are busy...

    Correct me if I am wrong in any way or missing a variable that is in place, but the performance of these websites and KZread videos is a critical variable in the overall success of your SEO writing structure. If the content isn't providing a good click-through rate, watch time and other data based on other performance-related variables, then you can have the best SEO writing structure in the world, the content isn't going to compete well or rank significantly well for certain search terms that are relatively good search vol. with low comp.

    A VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION- What about my keyword is 'best chef knives for beginners" and 8 of the result I got from google is focused only on "best chef knives." Only 2 of them are focusing on this particular keyword. What would be my practice here? Should I Count words and #keywords from those sites? Though I won't find the exact #keywords on those blogs.

  • @MilesB

    yes. Count the words from those sites because they are what rank

    Hey Miles, how would this apply to ecommerce sites? When i search for my chosen keyword, 9 out of 10 results are ecommerce homepages or product pages - no blog pages. So to outrank them, would I use the same idea of writing more words than them on my homepage/product page?

  • @LockedownSEO

    @LockedownSEO

    To outrank them, you would (ideally) have an e-commerce page. Having a blog post would be an outside chance to land on page one, at best.

    Thank you for the actionable easy to follow process! I don't hit enough Likes on your videos :) interesting thing - just tested this process, opened 5 top links from Google SERP results for my test keyword. 4 of them had ZERO "# of keyword in content" on their page (Ctrl+F method). Why do you think that is? From the high view perspective

  • @russells777

    @russells777

    Found one clue - the keyword may not show with exact match, but still be "in content" as separate words. Ex: A review site ranks # 4 for "best wrinkle cream". Has 0 exact matches on that page, but "best" - 15 times "wrinkle" - 9 times "cream" - 11 times

    Hey Miles. I wonder how easy or difficult it is to win the competition with e-commerce websites for the keyword and also is it easy to rank higher than Pinterest?

  • @MilesB

    @MilesB

    4 жыл бұрын

    It depends on the e-commerce store... Amazon is going to be much more difficult than a random Shopify store run by your neighbor down the street. when your site reaches a high enough authority you cannot rank Pinterest, Amazon, etc... Until then just keep publishing content so you can continue to grow your authority

    @@MilesB yeah I got it. But I mean about e-commerce websites like fashion brands. When the keyword is so large, like dresses they are definitely on the first page. I don't target the keyword but if my targeted keyword has for ex. h&m on the first page as a first result its gonna be difficult to defeat them right ?
