THE SEVEN DEATHS OF EVELYN HARDCASTLE [Stuart Turton] Spoiler-Free REVIEW
Ойын-сауық
In today's video I review the recently released "The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle", a debut novel by Stuart Turton. It's a mystery/crime novel set in the 1920/30s, that reminds a little of Agatha Christie while putting its own very unique spin on it. It's instantly become a new favourite of mine and I highly recommend it to everyone! xx

hi, can you tell me whats the difference between "the seven deaths of evelyn hardcastle" and the seven 1/2 deaths of evelyn hardcastle"? I'm quite confused... i found both versions and the describtions make them seem identical..

They're the same! I believe they were just published under slightly different names in the UK and US! :)

They’re the same book. I believe the title was slightly changed because of how similar the title was to another book called “The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo,” which came out around the same time.
"This could have been a shitshow" - ha, probably one of my favourite review comments. Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for this.

Hi stuart turton im reading your novel right now on chapter 45 and loving it! Great work!
Having read this book about 20 times, I’m not exaggerating, I can honestly say that every time I read it I pick up new clues that I missed the previous times. Love this book.
This book was such a mindfuck! Excellent read and I complement agree with you - one has to finish it in short time. Long gaps can make you lost.
This is such a staggeringly brilliant premise that is then executed stunningly. Extraordinarily original, atmospheric, intelligent and fiendishly complex novel that I really loved. Thanks
Finding this after my third read of this book and gosh, if this book isn't my new favorite. I'm a hardcore Agatha Christie stan and this just was so perfect and enjoyable. One of the few books I legitimately had to read in one sitting the first time.
Im not quite done with this book but i have been loving every page. This book grabbed me the first few pages. This is my first time ever taking notes while reading, i dont want to miss anything! Usually, I'm so overwhelmed when there are too many characters but i love how Stuart Turton organizes them all and makes the characters so unique to where its hard to forget any of them. I have seen some people say they couldnt get into the book because it was too much jumping timelines, a bit too confusing and i completely understand that. As for me, i love mysteries like this. I love time loops. I love the beautiful environment Stuart paints to make the reader feel like they're really there. I love love love this book! And I'll definitely read it again!
reading this at the moment, really enjoying it
Just finished this book. Loved it!
I loved the beginning and the last couple chapters. It does meander a bit in the middle, but it was worth getting through it for the ending.
I just finished reading it and agree with everything you said, what brilliant book!
Sounds interesting. I will definitely buy this
this book is one hell of a ride, I dived into this book without even reading the blurb and omg it made the reading so much fun. I was completely clueless when Aiden woke up in butler's body I was like 'did we just switch perspective' after re-reading the entire chapter I got the hang of it and then I was glued to it until the end. I just can't describe how much I loved this novel
I have the other cover (red shade) but the one you own is soo gorgeous😢❤
Pretty late here lol but just purchased from the help of your review and excited to read it.
I am currently resdin this, and it is WONDERFUL. I feel the same way i did when i read A Silent Patient. (Whoch is much different, but the suspense ive felt is incredibly similar) I am currently on page 371 of 458, and i cant wait to see how it unfolds.
Ok, now I must this one
I've started it a few days ago and I'm only ¼ of the way through but I already had some OOH moments! I'm so glad you liked it!

just wait for the ending!! :D
I tried the audiobook and could not finish it. It was like listening "Groundhog Day" with a British accent.

Hi from Mexico ❤️
Thank you for the spoil free Theresa :)
Ivy Muse I got a question for you please answer it OK here I go . How long have you been studying English??
Lofty!!
who is the footman? I've finished the book but I don't think there's an explanation of why is there a footman trying to kill Aiden's host and what is his motivation?

The footman is just a regular person. He’s not like Anna, Daniel or Aiden. Where their trapped in body’s, the footman was really just a bonus of Daniel’s character. Daniel had gave money to the footman, and Silver tear supplied them of aidens hosts and times they awake.
Hey can someone tell me the age rating of this book plsss Is it appropriate for a 13 or 14 yr old?
I’m reading this book right now. I’m only on chapter 6 so I’m still not sure what I think about it.

Would love to take your portrait! 😀
Live show for 15K? Starring...Theresa!!!!!!! And of course I trust you. Why do you think I've subbed to your channel since you were a teen? Could you see this book being made into a movie?

Just do a hang-out. You have >15K fellow bookies subbed to your channel. I suspect they'll talk lots on books, a bit on languages, life in Austria, spending a year in Japan & visiting Iceland, & maybe movies. Just be yourself. Yup, I can see it now. Movie mogul sees your live-show & makes a movie of it. A star is born! :-D Lots of booky people have done hangouts, like Thoughtsontomes, elizziebooks, etc. This person kzread.infovideos only talks about books sometimes but does a live-show every couple of months & her channel is hardly large. Your English skills are probably superior to mine & I'm a native speaker. Theresa FTW! U can do this. See this & have an Austrian laugh kzread.info/dash/bejne/hIphmNObhau8p9o.html

I see a mexican flag in the back, are you mexican:)?
This book IS the shitshow and a disaster! I read the first 66 pages and wanted to give up! I "angry read" the rest of it just to see what all the fuss was about! The plot is convoluted, full of holes; the characters are unlikeable and boring! The disdain the author has towards fat people is disgusting - he spends entire paragraphs fat shaming, yet rape barely gets a breezy mention! There is barely a mystery, the ending did not make sense at all! I cannot say strongly enough how much I HATED this book!
