BMW tech here again, I can’t say I’ve ever seen an N63 swapped X6 M before, that’s definitely a first! Also I may be biased but the newer BMWs, especially anything B58 powered, is honestly decently reliable. BMWs bread and butter is and has always been the straight 6, anything else isn’t nearly as reliable nor trustworthy. The N63TU (Same engine as yours but updated) is okayish in terms of reliability but it’s not good in the scope of most cars. My theory about BMW is that most new BMW owners buy the cars own them for only a few years at most and then trade them in for a new luxury car and they never take the hit for all the issues that are fixing to happen. In this aspect BMW only needs the car to work properly for a few years then they don't care after that because they don't make money off used cars.

Mines been going on for over 60 years.
Add wood beneath the rear wheels and it will allow to slide when pulled. Once at bottom of ramp lift with tire jacks
As a former owner of an F02 7 series, the mere mention of the BMW N63 engine sent a shudder down my spine. It was a fantastically smooth and powerful engine... When it was running and I _mean_ when. So glad I got rid of that car, I'll stick to the older BMWs.
On the Astin Martin I think there is a cable pull loop under a cover under the driver's side rear seat that will force the car into neutral.
There is Implied Warranty that is Federal if not State law. If sold as an M car and it isn't, you should get a full refund.

KS is pretty picky about non OEM Vins. They are looking for stollen parts and cars. He might have a case in Topeka. Its clearly fraud to me.
Hoovie I just saw you at ohare airport u were eating an ice cream sandwich but still said hi and knuckle bumped me ur the best bro and good luck to you in the future and believe me things will get better
When I bought my BMW F10 second hand, I did a pre-purchase inspection by an independent and reputable mechanic, who found problems that the car dealer fixed. Before the statutory used car warranty ran out, I did another inspection by a different independent mechanic, who also found problems that the dealer also had to fix. After the statutory warranty expired, I fortunately had paid for an optional extended warranty and yet two more problems cropped up, which were fixed by the warranty underwriter. All of this within the space of few months of ownership. Now, a few months later, and after routine maintenance, another problem has been discovered, which unfortunately I have to pay for myself to fix. It seems the only real scam is buying a BMW. Never had such litany of problems with the Mercedes and other brand of cars I have bought over the years. BMWs are beautifully engineered and designed cars but the quality of their components is absolutely and utterly crap. Will never get sucked into buying a BMW again.
Parting the BMW out might be the best option and would be hilarious to watch Tyler do with Freddy and Ed as a CarTrek plot. They then have to buy a car or cars with the recouped money and the adventure unfolds further from there.

precisely what I was thinking. Best advice I've seen here. If you buy the cheapest of anything, that should always be considered as an option during the inspection. Things like the seats, brakes, engine (if it isn't toast), transmission, suspension bits will always find a home with the advent of ebay. The M badge puts a hefty premium for all those parts, and it's easy to find what you can swap to what (brakes can go on a 5 series, for example).
VASECTOMY NIGHTMARE! The taxi I booked to take me to hospital for my vasectomy didn’t turn up so my mum had to take me! Instead of just dropping me off she insisted on taking me in and waiting in the waiting room! She might as well have said to the receptionist “Philip’s been a very naughty boy, can you fix him”🙄 To top things off my old English teacher was in there too😬

And when you got up your pants fell off. Way ta go Grace. Bennie Hill theme plays.
I love how even the light on the emergency flashers button is flickering lol
And this is why you don't buy cars at random auctions. If they aren't going to let you look in the engine bay you walk your ass away.
Hang in there Hoovie. The rough road will smoothen out soon😊 As for the BMW, you can part it out, or do another Chevy (Corvette) engine swap like you did to your Porsche years ago. Have fun with it. Mod the hell out of it🤪

After the LS swap, perhaps he can sell the car to a realtor affiliated with a biker gang. ;)
@Hoovie there might be a neutral safety switch or something behind the driver seat (under the rear driver side seat if there is a back seat) that can be accessed. It definitely is a thing on newer astons but not sure when they implement that. Samcracs recent Aston video showed how he got to it. Worth a look!!
Lmao the test drive at the end. Ow ow ooh ow.
I do appreciate your outrun arcade game in the background. I've seen it before, but that's neat.
Get well soon Tyler. Thanks for keeping us entertained. Wishing u a good car that u can make money out of for the future. At least skip a lemon for once :D
Keep you head up hoovie. You’re talented and savvy and have your whole life ahead of you.

The most expensive vehicle acquisition method, leasing,. is frequently selected with the driver dumping the car at end of lease, avoiding out of pocket repair expenses, so crap continues to roll off the assembly line.
His words not mine @6:06 , I definitely 💯 agree. 😂. How does he not learn anything. 😆
I'd still want to see how it runs once the misfire is cleared. If somehow the M ECU works with the non M engine, that would be interesting. Either way, spend the $350 to fix those rear shocks. Sheesh.
There is a shifter release pull under the driverside back seat of the Aston. SAMCRAC just had a video recently and had to get his off a trailer that way. Hope this helps.

Hoovie’s drive reminds me of a TV show in the movie Idiocracy. Ow my Nuggets!
The auction misrepresented the vehicle so they are required to re-accept the vehicle. Take it back and demand your money back
If suffering = content, and I think we can all agree that's the basis of this channel, this thing is the best buying decision you've ever made.
About the Aston: with a Ferrari F1 system the open door/close door prime of the system sometimes helps with a car that's sat for a while. Open the door, close the door, rinse lather repeat, multiple times and see what happens.
Break My Wallet always lives up to that mantra! 😆
Thank you for reminding me why I’ve never bought a BMW. 😂 Been close a couple of times- so far have escaped the trap…

13 year old vehicle with swapped p[arts, how is that BMWs fault? Hoovie is just not very bright, that is is the issue.
Seeing you bounce uncontrollably made my day! Thanks for the laugh medicine 🤣
I am really sad about everything that is happening to you. I hope that you will get better. For the X6 M50i, I am sure that if you put some love and care someone will enjoy it. It is still a twin turbo V8. Have a great day.

I would definitely LS with a blower swap that thing The drive train is indestructible and the handling is more than Amazing
Seems like a great time to call Westin about swapping something more interesting in... Might just want to swap out the rest of the car too while he's at it.

You can see him going a little more crazy with every video... But at least he's having fun with it!
We have a 15 year old 320d, most issues we've had was wear and tear, shocks needed doing after 15 years and the steering bushes, and we've had it now for 8 years and put 120000km on it haha
Hi buddy, you need to do 12v reset… by disconnect battery and let sit 5 min and reconnect. You should able to turn the vehicle back on..
Glad you feeling better! And one mean kick right to the fruit basket!
If it can help, the aston gearbox should use the same system as the 360 f1 (and some early 2000 fiat group cheap hatchbacks) so, with a bit of part number matching, you can get the immensely cheaper Alfa Romeo (selespeed models) or FIAT (dualogic models) parts that can fix that. First of all check the hydraulic fluid level, if it's not it, it's could probably be the "accumulator" and it's not very expensive to fix
I guess I should consider myself fortunate…my 2015 316d wagon has been flawless. It’s about as base as you can get…smallest displacement, manual transmission…that’s it. Hope it stays that way for at least another 2 years…
Originally, I was thinking along the lines of getting the engine running well, then giving the car away. Then I remembered the suspension issues and realized that even giving the car away isn't realistic without a bunch more investement. At this point, is the car worth more parted out?
Poor Tyler!! When a dark cloud hovers the bright sun is always ready to come through. In other words things will get better Sir!
