Some singers’ voices deteriorate with age, but not Judith’s. She has such a wonderful clear voice. My favourite,

I wonder if Linda Ronstadt must shed the odd tear to listen to Judith, still able to sing so well at a similar age, when sadly Linda no longer can. I love them both.

The Seekers worked so well together that seems they came together by divine intervention. The Boys had worked together since school, I hear. Judy had her own thing going and then one night she came in to sing then then, like Cinderella and the glass slipper.

Perhaps ironically, I've never found a single verse in the Bible that confirms angels can even sing at all. They can proclaim, but that's not singing. If I am assessing that accurately, then Judith was gifted with a voice that far surpasses any angelic being in either Heaven or earth.

@@brucebaur5670 And yet, God inspired his words of the Bible, to be put to music. George Frederic Handel’s, master piece, comes to mind. And other composed music, of the Bible. I wonder if anyone that died, and was sent back to the earthly body, has mentioned any music 🎵 on that experience? Somewhere I saw something about the hearing of Angles, singing. But I cannot remember as to where.

@@ivangranger8494 I will gladly eat crow when someone can verify in scripture that angels can sing. I never found such a place. In fact, I've never found a scripture that says they can dance, either. After all, the Bible does tell us that there are a number of things we humans can do that angels would like to look into. They can do what we cannot, and we can do what they cannot. Bottom line: I'm just thankful we're all on the same side.

"Silver Threads and Golden Needles" was the first big hit of The Springfields, which catapulted Dusty Springfield to stardom. Her brother, Tom, subsequently became the primary songwriter for the Seekers, penning "Georgy Girl," "I'll Never Find Another You," "The Carnival is Over," and "A World of Our Own." So, it's fitting they recorded this in their last session together.

First Time Hearing This Song And I Really Enjoyed Listening. I Am Rather New With The Seekers But Heard The Music Since I Was A Young Boy But I Didn't Know The Group And I Am 55 Years Old! I Need To Get Some CD's And Start A Playlist Of The Seekers! :-)

Absolutely wonderful! There is another version where she ends the song with a defiant declaration...'' I don't want your lonely mansion'' ...which suits Judith to a tee. She's as sweet as a Georgia peach but implacably strong in spirit. jtk

You're right! I had to amend the ending and use 4 video sources, as the official music video is subject to blocking in the US due to Apple selling a cut-down version of the video there...

Yes, the bots are about and things can get complicated, but you do a wonderful job of navigating the hazards and delivering top quality videos. It is much appreciated by all of us. jtk
