I believe it's true that everyone has an idea of a person they would have liked to know buried deep within their heart and whom they search for all their life. Some like myself are fortunate to actually see and hear that person in their walk through life. Judith Durham fulfilled that search. I honestly have been in love with her in most every way. From the 60's her pretty face was my vision of lovely beauty. Her special voice; the songs and music reached me and held my admiration and peacefully consoled. We have never met except in my mind and thru media, but if life would have been accommodating then she would be the one.

OMG, divine beautiful Judith, I have loved you since you were with The Seekers and I've just listened to "The Carnival Is Over", my favourite 60s song of ALL time, followed by your solos of "The Olive Tree" and "Catch the Wind" before bursting into tears, me a 71 years old man, at your heart-wrenching performance of "Danny Boy". RIP dear Judith, you will live on in the hearts of all of us who were so glad and happy to have had you, through your records, in our lives and where you will forever remain. I hope she will be in my next life to keep listening to her voice. I love her very much, even though I have never met her. God bless her now and beyond this life.
Sydämet jotka kuuntelevat ❤.Kuulevat Judith Durham fantastinen tulkitsija kera seekers 🥰.
Love all those wonderful exotic places this beautiful voice has taken me. Judith, you must be an angel because you certainly sing like one.
awesome song.... Judith is magnificent... she has a voice given by God....
I was expecting "Eres Tu" Catch the Wind (Simon & Garfunkel)...but still impossible to be disappointed when Dame Judith sings!
Love the hat Judith.
A nice rendition and as much as I love her voice, Donovan sings it with such an aching longing feeling.
I heard Donovan sing this. I thought it was really good. Then I heard THIS version ---- oh, MY! The moment her voice came on, I had chills! Great song for Judith!

I would love to hear Judith and Donovan sing this song together.
Judith, stop it! Stop making me come up with superlatives with which to praise you. You are AMAZING!

I try not to praise her too much, she’s only human and made mistakes. No one is perfect. But I agree she is wonderful. I’ve come up with superlatives myself.
Beauty.
And on the 7th day God said I am going to take a break from rest and create Judith.
It’s 11:15pm, May 31, 2021. I’ve never heard of her. (Heck, I’d never heard of John Prine until 3 years ago.) She’s wonderful.

I didn't hear of her until a few months back, after she had already passed away :) Wonderful..yes. And I'm not just saying that. I've looked at other videos of her on KZread and I agree.
Bravo, Judith
Whoa.. . V excellent cover rendition indeed... fr soprano Judith Durham !..(seeker s vocalist!)
Let's get a million views for this special lady
Judith, For standin' in your heart Is where I want to be And long to be, Ah, but I may as well try and catch the wind.
I would've given my left knacker to hear her sing this with Donovan. That would've been sensational
I like this version, as Judith's voice is always terrific, but my absolute favorite is Joan Baez and her late sister Mimi Farina's version. Their two beautiful voices sound like one. You can find their version on KZread. Fortunately I don't have to choose, as I can listen to both songs on KZread. I didn't even know Judith recorded this, so thanks much for posting it.
Love the strings, guitar work, apart from her amazing voice
This voice gives me the heebie - jeebies. Wish I could have seen and listened to her live. I hope her health is good and she has a good life.
Very very nice!
