Hi Amy, ... I totally agree with you. Actually I'm a PMP instructor and at the end of each training this is my message to my class, "Don't forget to plan for the most important project, ... Your Life" Thanks for saying it loud. Ahmad

Loved the way you intertwined the idea of project management with your entire life... I agree that life is one big project, sometimes it is like a program (group of projects with a strategic vision and a common benefit!).
Thanks for sharing this video about Project Management and its real-life comparison!! I am planning for my PMI ACP exam and I think ACP is more agile approach to PMP :D
I enjoyed Amy's video using life as a project. It's so true!
Thank you Amy, At the age of 54, I couldn't agree with you more. Project management of our life should be taught in jr high school. I am starting boot camp next week and since I have been preparing for boot camp I have been thinking in parallel with everything you said.

Hey Amy, so I'm a young Civil Engineering graduate with a few years of construction work experience in coordinating and monitoring workers as a Site Engineer, any idea if that experience would count towards the 3 years needed to fulfill the experience requirement to write the pmp exam ?
Nice one!!!!!!
Haha Brilliant. I passed my PMP on 29th. You explained it perfectly.

According to PMI's Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), there is no such thing as a Controlling "phase". However, there are many Monitoring & Controlling "processes".

I thought she was alone :( - I think the audience was not opened, or had any PM knowledge… I don't know.
PMP's are typically understood as private marketplace ..this was confusing
I see HE and PNGUOT Teaching and learning being processed like PMP.
If only life is as simple as 5 process groups...

Sorry ...I think if we consider our life as Project we are going to feel more stresseful and living a complicated life.. and the most difficult is to predict what can happen to our life
Life is a project managed by God

I always amazed why people will put PMP after their name, it's so small to define you. I got a Ph.D. and didn't put it after my name.

As someone who comes from the world of technical recruiting, it made my life SO MUCH EASIER when candidates had their qualifications below their name at the top of their resume.. a LOT of jobs require those silly three letters at the end of the name. Having it at the end of your name for everything??? I agree, it's ridiculous. But definitely helpful on resumes
I really do not like project managers who have control issues.
The key to life ? Really?

Lady said PMP knowledge helps to unstress but she looked very stressed. And if I heard correctly she said that Mother Terese was a perfect Life Project while I saw and heard that she (MT) was one of the biggest world frauds of all time... Find docs on YT. But Amy did a very good job nevertheless.

The Mother Theresa scam is the most shocking thing I discovered. It was drilled into me as a child. She was the poster woman for doing good. Liitle did I know; she took bribes, questioned her faith to the point of not believing and made the dying in india last days extremely painful. Read Christopher Hitchens book: The Missionary Position
I’m here after she destroy our class by handing out labs that she didn't even bother to look at.
