Ingredients:
20 grams of fresh yeast
500 g flour (4 cups + 2 tbsp)
250 ml lukewarm milk
100 g sugar (½ cup)
60 grams of butter
pinch of salt
2 tsp cocoa powder
1 tbsp milk
2 tsp instant coffee
1 tbsp milk
1 egg for brushing
Bake: 180°C / 356°F 20 minutes on top/bottom heat
Baking pan diameter: 26 cm

Izvrsno prikazano pripremanje ovog novozelandskog kolača. Osobito mi se sviđa što nema pričanja, nikakvog komentara, već je sve jasno prikazano na ekranu. Bravo za prikaz, svakako ću ga napraviti. Hvala.
I recommend using transparent shower caps for the covering when dough is rising, they are more environmentally friendly as can be washed, less expensive and you can still see the dough rise

As a chef of over 40 years experience, I would never use a shower cap in a kitchen. Shower caps are not ideal because of the material used in their manufacter. Gladwrap / Clingfilm is the only item that should be used. As an aside Gladwrap / Glingfilm is actually a hygenic wound dressing ideal for any burns. I was volunteer rural fire fighter for 15 years and that was a standard item in our first aid kits.

Es ist nur Kuchen was Sie zubereiten und das ist schon eine Köstlichkeit für sich. Ich wäre gerne Mäuschen bei ihren normalen Speisen die Sie zubereiten. Habe nun auch das Praktische Kochbuch von 1895 erworben mit einer Widmung aus dem Jahre 1899 an die Familie Oppenheimer. Es ist sehr interessant zu lesen. Danke ❤

I was thinking along the same lines 😀 with only 100 gr of sugar to 500 gr of flour, I bet it just a little sweeter than simple bread. bet it would be great with some filling in between the layers. i also don't think the egg on top is a great addition. we have some holidays coming in about a week - I'll try it then

@@irinadalah9089 Mmmmm!!! Maybe some chopped dates with the walnuts!?!?! I've used half and half spooned over cinnamon rolls. Probably would be good over these too instead of egg, kinda like a mocha latte!
