Billy, I was an envious admirer of yours for many years and still am,to a certain extent of moderation,now that I realize that age has caught up with me and surpassed my physical limitations and abilities to be able to perform the physical activities that it requires of a person to perform the tasks of hunting Alaskan Brown Bears in the 9.5-foot to 10-foot range that I am used to. Although I was brought up with strong Christian beliefs and values, I had let my beliefs in Him slowly slip away and had started to have agnostic beliefs to another one in the bhathtro,or😂after my sister and brother-in-law started working as financial advisors for a faith healer

Billy great video Imagine if we had a church service and we just humble to God and had a day of testimony. I remember when I was young that happened and God showed up! TGBTG

I have experienced the “secret handshake” but in my heart I call it the communion of The Spirit. We have the same Spirit in us so there is that acknowledgement, knowledge and unity in Him.

Ive watched most all of your videos. This was one of the best and most moving I have seen. The bruises, testimony and scars of battle worn warriors for Christ. What a story that rings so true in so many lives. I continue to hope that I may meet you or even hunt with you someday and swap these same kind of stories on a mountain somewhere. May never happen but that’s ok. Thank you for the adventures, blessings and great witness you bring to us all. May God bless you and your family! In Christ

Powerful, what an emotional, eye opening, heartfelt, relatable story. I pray and ask everyday what my purpose is here on earth and I'm certain that my story is what God intends me to tell, that if you trust him he will guide you through more than you can ever do on your own accord. As you say Billy, trust him and be still and let him guide you through it. If there is no light at the end of the tunnel, keep moving forward and eventually he will show you the way. As an outdoorsman and a father myself and coming out on the other end of 6 back surgeries now being able to be a father and able to support my family and enjoy the great outdoors once again is truly a blessing that I owe to the man above. For 10 years of my life, I couldn't lift anything, work very much at all, hunt, or fish, and now by the grace of god because I never gave up and never stopped believing, I can do all things. My dream is to go to Alaska and Africa to hunt, hopefully that dream will come to reality soon. Thanks for all that you do Billy, and to all of my Brothers and Sisters, God Bless.

Romans 8:28, always seems to be a good one to cling to in times of tribulation. The trials make us more, Christlike boy. It takes maturity to do as James says and , “consider it joy when we face various trials and tribulations”.

I believe the Lord brought me too this video.I lost my wife a few months ago and have been going through very similar feelings as were expressed in the film. She had a stroke 4 years ago and health continued to decline to where i became her constant caregiver. I know the Lord watched over us through that season because there was no way i could have done what needed to be done on a daily basis without him.

I've been sitting here thinking and I want to say something about the video I just watched.... It's not my favorite video of yours. I'm not sure what to think if it's a tribute to a mentor/friend or what to believe. I really enjoy your hunting videos and narration, watching your girls smile and light up when they speak to or with their Dad, that's priceless! Still thinking, if you wanted to make everyone search their souls to figure out the reasoning behind this you've succeeded. Why? I'm not big on hard luck stories, my friend as a young man told/used his story and got a lot of sympathy and pity, it didn't make him stronger or help him grow, it really held him back. So many thoughts so little time. I would love to see you hunt the lower 48 but it seems Billy's path is Billy's path. If the Lord is your shepherd you shall not want: He'll maketh you to lie down in green pastures, and guide you by the still waters; He'll restoreth your soul, and leadeth you in the paths of righteousness for his names sake; The rest of Psalms 23 is good too! After 44L00, where Zach Hollister started his testimony, at his back on that high bank, is it eroding or am I mistaken/ But if it is, why don''t 'they' cut that flow on the left side deeper and wider, that way less water will flow to the right side under those buildings on top? A 41+ years Native Elder of serving our JESUS, in Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada.
