Really like Billy's hunting skills and guiding. Farm boys make the best hunters. They don't brag they just do it and praise mother nature for her offerings. This guide is an opportunist when he works for you. Gets you a real fair chance to make your dreams come true. You only live once. He's lived a few onces. Farmers ,fix it they don't throw nothing away

I am great-full to all those who post videos yours are my favorite.I-was also fortunate to take 3 moose and 4 caribou so all of your hunts are meaningful to me, May the Good Lord continue to bless you and your family and your work.

I would like to give you a thought to ponder. I was about 30 years old and I lived in the mountains of East Tennessee. I looked at the mountains with the hills and the valleys. I had a thought. My thought was, it looks like some huge hand has reached down in the earth and got huge hands full of the dirt and rocks. I thought about GOD WHEN HE CREATED the heavens and the earth. I just imagined that HE dug HIS HANDS down and brought up huge hands full of the dirt and rocks. Then, I imagined HIM TAKING HIS HAND AND RACKING DOWN AND CREATING the hills and valleys. I read a SCRIPTURE IN ISAIAH THAT HE TOOK HIS HAND AND CREATED earth

People don’t understand a lot of hunters really don’t enjoy killing a beautiful animal like a moose but it’s all about conservation and saving the population from themselves!! Let’s not forget there have been countless species of animal extinct from this earth at no fault of human over hunting! Yes there has been cases of this but along time ago and we’ve now learned our lessons and only take what is needed from the population.. also imagine everything dies and these animals a lot of them die from various things and all goes to waste except fjr bugs 🐛 and microorganisms 🦠 have their fill ! What a waste! Infact we learn so much in conservation that it helps grow the population and have saved numerous species of animal from extinction due to overpopulation and disease!!

Born in Alaska hunting all my life. Wolfs are not a game in my book. They are a keystone animal. I feel the same way with bear hunting if you're not eating the animal you should not take more than one so-called trophy in your lifetime. This is just learned behavior he says wolves are endangering the hunt by killing the game animals. That is not true at all. It sounds like Billy has been raised to think the wolf is a pest. This is just ignorant human behavior. The wolf is a natural animal this is their land you are hunting it. You are the one endangering the wolf's hunting ground. Try having some respect for nature. You act like you have this respect but when you state These wolves are hurting your hunting you are now putting your human desires above nature and the way the wild works. I hope you have grown out of this behavior as I see you are older now a day's. Again I'm all for hunting but I just can not stand when people act like they're one with nature but then say stupid things as he did in this video. When you are raised in Alaska you learn to hunt at a young age. I was raised in the Chistochina area tons of wolfs around the Caribou were still plentiful. These wolves are lucky if they take down one caribou a month they do get some young caribou in the birthing season but again that is nature. Bear hunt the young newborns as well. Bear actually only hunts the young ones. These wolves mostly hunt the old sick and hurt animals they just don't go around killing large healthy bull Caribou. Without a doubt fact, these wolved are not taken from hunters. This is the wild where the strong survive and the hunters will have more large strong caribou to take. If anything hurts the Caribou hunting it is the caribou themself. They eat so much a lot of time they will clear out an area so bad they can not come back to that area for years. So the wolf helps to keep that in check. If Billy wants to have good caribou hunting then the wolf is doing their keystone thing and making sure that happens. The other option was not to find the caribou at all because they cleared the land to the point of destruction. Trust me without the wolf doing their part the grazing animal will destroy the land that Billy makes a living on. Seem at that point in Billy's life he is just too ignorant to see that. Hopefully, that has changed over the years.
