I've found this too. Some communities get really nasty and this one never does. It's my favorite part about it.

@44:42 This may be a long shot but George Martin may be using climate theory for this in the books. It's believed that during colder periods on earth, grasslands become more common since larger plants have a harder time surviving, while warmer periods can host larger forests. Since these ideas were around in the early 2000's and 2010's, it's possible they influenced these sorts of ideas. There's also a theory that in the past the earth has been almost completely covered in snow, the "snowball earth" theory, I wonder if this was also an image in George's head?

Assuming the Others and Ghost Grass have the same origin, perhaps the Children weren’t always relegated to Westeros.

Interesting. I always interpreted those places titles to be poetic names for things we have in the real world. You could call Antarctica the land of always winter, for example
