Bro real fans know . We should be nothing but excited man. We have been 9-8 past two seasons with the WORST rush defense in the league. Im expecting the boys to pick it up fast Mac is a hell of a teacher, and we have nothing but talent.

I agree. I am feeling very optimistic because if things click quick enough, the upside is high. Look to put bets on NFL futures for my Hawks this season!

It was both ravens safety’s, the middle linebacker and the defensive tackle that shined in the defense. Love, Dodson and Murphy will rack up stats. Spoon will be an all pro!

We are in a good spot. My expectations are not so high. There's a difference between college and the pros. There's a difference between having 3 nfl caliber receivers in the pac12, which is not known for having savage defenses like that of other conferences. So for me I'm a little reserved. Also, I do think our defense improves but to what degree in a first year install. I think Macdonald is another draft/free agent class or 2 away from having the personal he needs on defense tk be fully effective. I'm happy to get 10 wins and play a playoff game. I'm happy with a 5 or 6 win season as long as we show improvement at the los

I'm super excited for our defense, ESPECIALLY our corners. We all know Spoon is gonna be super dominant in this system, but I wanna shine some light on Tariq Woolen. When he joined Bump & Stacy, he sounded much more confident and mature. He also said he's been working on his strength, and it appears he's bulked up. We're about to have possibly the most dominant CB duo in NFL history! GO HAWKS! 💙💚

They had a lot of talent on that D last year... PFF ranked them almost top 10 overall... the fact they were the worst TOP defense, 3rd worst 3rd down % allowed, and bottom 5 defense in general was absolutely BAFFLING and was 100% due to Pete's system which has been tanking each and every year over the last 4-5 years. The cover 3 soft zone is exploitable and Pete no matter what just kept marching out the same thing, making no adjustments... Seattle had WAY too much talent on that roster to be THAT bad on D... and of course it made the offense struggle too because they never got the ball back to get in any rhythm. The offense would start the game out with a FG or TD... and then allow the opposing team on the ensuing drive to chew up 7 minutes of clock and STILL score. The defensive players were also very frustrated (it was obvious on the field). It's the whole reason Pete was let go. And then he pulls Woolen who is still one of the best cover corners in the league? The hell was he smoking? You know who else sucks at run defense? Sauce Gardner... but the Jets DC doesn't have his head up where the sun doesn't shine.

I mean it still is a very complex new system, so to really understand and perfect it you need time so I think they will get it towards the end of the season and in 2025 you have the chemistry from the start and can be a great defense from the start
