The defense will take time to get going but the offense should be explosive. This is a very unique scheme and those take time for the league to figure out, like mccvay's first years

I think a 18 game schedule could work. Especially if they were to cut out some of the OTA’s. There’s no tacking, etc. And just cut out preseason games completely, maybe have 1 preseason game, then onto the regular season schedule! For years the preseason was basically for players who most likely aren’t going to make the 53 man roster! Starters barely played until maybe a quarter or 2 max in the final preseason game…Plus 18 games makes it an even schedule, with a 17 game schedule, you’re either going to have an extra home game or an additional away game. So at least in an 18 schedule, team’s have an even home/away season. Idk what they should do about International game’s? Especially the games in Germany for example. Seattle has to cross the entire US, then the Atlantic, then into Europe. The time change and jet lag is too much for a 1 week trip! If they could set it up that both teams had their bye’s the following week should be a good start…I’m super stoked about the new kickoff rule’s, because the NFL was missing out on exciting, explosive plays that literally can change games in 1 kickoff! Devon Hester made a great career returning kicks. I got tired of watching kicker’s kick off into the end zone, eliminating a chance for a player to make an explosive return! It’ll be interesting to see how this develops…#GoHawks

I want to be realistic. I feel seattle has talent to win more than 11 games but I feel the coaching staff will need time to get the right players, and the players learn the philosophy and scheme. So I feel it will be a 8 win team but they will get hot at the end of season

HC MM needs a year to bed in his plans. It all depends on O line. Good OL play & 12s go 11 - 6 & reach the SB. If they overuse Abe & get him injured, then it's 6 - 11 & a top 5 draft pick to look forward to. Also, dont expect all pro play from BM3 as it's a very complex high IQ Defence. It takes a long time to get an age 20 DT to all pro. If possible, they should sign Abe to a new contract next yr, 2025, before he gets fully healthy & all-pro level. Similarly, sign BM3 at the end of yr 3 in 2026 before he explodes into an all pro type DT. Get em on cheap deals early.

I’m against 18 games. At some point the significance of each game is diluted and it’s less compelling, records don’t mean as much. Worst case it becomes tedious which is part of baseball’s problem. Would be brutal on players and their families.

Seahawks will be 5-12 - 1 at season end. I sincerely hope I'm wrong. But the players need to prove me wrong after last years season.

Remember that our new Offensive Line Coordinator, Scott Huff was at UW too…He took a talented group of linemen, and turned them into the best Offensive Line in the Country last season! We’ve definitely got more talent/depth at the O-line positions than we’ve had in a long time! If our 2 tackles can stay healthy, while also playing at a high level? NFL teams better lookout 👀 for the Seahawks. A team that should be able to put up 30 points a game! IMO, our OC, Ryan Grubb’s best attribute is that he knows how to put players in positions to excel at a high level! If Geno has time and an open pocket, he’s going to shred opposing defenses all day! We could realistically have 3 WR’ers over/extremely close to 1,000 yards receiving. K-9 should have over 1,000 yards rushing, Charbonnet could be the “power back rusher (at the goal line!) and don’t forget about what Kenny Macintosh is capable of as well! Shenault, could be our kick returner specialist, and he could also have a similar role of a Debo, rushing the football. I’m so excited to see what Grubbs offense will look like in the NFL 👀. Hopefully if he’s successful, he stays more than 2 years…And lastly, Coach Mac will make this defense much better. Obviously they won’t turn from the bottom of the league defensively, to the top in 1 year. But if they could be a top 10-15 defenses?
