i am a crofter on the isles of lewis and you did not mention the islands only the highlands

This is a beautiful, informative video, i'm not sure why the other commenter is nit-picking. I mean you did not say ALL crofters live the same way and you specified that the language spread throughout the british isles....so examples of other places gaelic is spoken would be completely appropriate. I miss Scotland, this video made me smile.

Much of the video consists of scenic but uncrofted land and some forestry. I think that most crofters today do not live on houses built on the foundations of older houses. It is bad enough to talk of "Scotch Whiskey" (adding the e is the Irish and American way - the Scots and Canadian way is "Whisky" but it is going too far when you post pictures of Irish roadsigns when there are plenty roadsigns in Scotland that would illustrate the point very well. Nice pics and music though :-)

You spelled whiskey the Irish way. Scotland produces whisky (no 'e').
