Loved the house. Perfect in my humble opinion. The outer stone work was fantastic. The second house was in much worse shape but a nice explore. Very Good seeing you again Alec. We always like when you post and take us along on your adventures. Glad you weren’t alone, too. Until the next one. 👍🏻😊

I wonder what was made in that workshop you entered after the house. It has too many windows for a barn. Though it may have been one more recently. Unless it was the dairy & the windows were so it was light enough to ensure thorough cleansing.

The fire place in the living room is 1950’s.It would have been a replacement. Going by the age of the building the original would have been a cast iron insert.

What a lovely little house. It is absolutely nuts that we live in a system of things where properties lay dormant and greedy developers build invasive human guinea pig hutches that look on each other with penny stamp 'gardens' on land where animals belong just to squeeze out every last penny. Should be a crime.

I've watched a few of these now. When you try to put a date to when these properties were abandoned and why they were left abandoned you miss so many ways to tell. Postage stamps laying around give a clue. As does mail. Medication laying around will give you an idea of what may have happened to them. There are all kinds of things you can puzzle together to workout when the place was abandoned and what happened to the owner. And I wonder how much asbestos you chaps have breathed in. 😷
