"Smokescreen deployed"

I have been noticing that every now a few of you get super excited about some vehicles other than tanks and wish I had done a close up of then. Even tho I am mostly interested in tanks I am more than happy to also record other goodies for you! Just let me know in the comment sections of the videos because the chances I will get to see those vehicles again are high! Anything for you!

That EURO5 emission ready truck engine smoke 😂. One ride of those tanks is half of Belgium diesel usage for a month as well 🤣 🤣 But it is nice to see those veterans still running strong, no doubt about that. Nice content Rita. Sending love from Czech republic.

Little known fact, 5 Scammel Pioneers provided the smoke screen for the crossing of the Rhine by the 51st Highland Division.

My grandad worked on scammells and drove them he drove one and towed a trailer on back when he was in Cyprus in 1963 he was in REME TA they had explorers and they drove an old Second World War pioneer and it broke down they tried to repair it but it was dilapidated and Captain told them to dump on a mountain and it leave there and they did.

As bad as it's smoking you'd almost expect to see a Red Star on the side of it!

That thing has a face only a mother could love. Lol

The design of that front axle and huge leaf spring is awsome.

When you need a truck that can go anywhere and do anything except go fast, accept no substitutes.

Now that is a beefy looking truck, and it comes with its own smoke generator!

She actually did it last year, During our national defile in Brussels a Sherman broke down. And the modern recovery vehicle that we shall not name but it was the Renault kerax, couldn't pull the tank, so they used her instead.

Are theybrhe original front tyres or they spares from the back? Or is it just the 30ton pioneer with the trailer points that have the slicker Goodyears?

You and Jingles should plan a visit to Virginia sometime. There are lots of cool military museums here including the AAF in Danville and the USS Wisconsin in Norfolk.

Scammell is in top gear for that drive...... fast as it can go. Amazing piece of kit..... And the Saladin..... what a noise. :) Wishlist of other vehicles: Thornycroft Antar Or Morris C8 FAT?
