Pioneers are 6x4 it's I've actually got a video on my channel of working on one of our pioneers back axles. Its amazing to see how they work like. Also it might be an earlier one than 45 because it has the early cast air cleaner on instead of the later pressed steel.

Thanks for the extra info, which bit do you think I`ve got wrong, is it some thing other than a pioneer or is it a 6x4. thanks again for all the extra info matey.

@@INCREDIBLETRUCKS no you were right with it being a pioneer, but the pioneers were only 4 wheel drive, the explorer the model after were 6 wheel drive and originally used the meadows petrol, the explorers are alot more square than the pioneers.
