Yesterday, a voting poll we won sent the prize to him - a cake with the sign 'congrats you'll never be able to see your own concert' xD Everyone voted real hard because he loves eating and we wanted to send him a cake. He said his biggest dream is to see his own live but it's impossible because he's the one performing. And because Hua and Martians take particular joy in sassing one another, he once laughed at us after his concert sold out - "Yayyyy congrats to y'all for not being able to get a ticket to my concert". And then we sassed him back on weibo for never ever going to get his wish fulfilled - "Yayyy congrats Huahua for never ever getting to watch your own live performances"

He was so good that a lot of ppl mistook it for his own personal story - it isn't btw. The whole studio - judges, production team, audience and all - fell completely silent when he ended, so immersed were they in the world and sadness he created that they forgot that the performance had ended and they were supposed to clap. Just look at the faces of the judges. His competitor teared up backstage when the performance ended.

This is not just a song to me. It is like part of a musical show. He did not sing the song but he tell the song. Kinda of strange but it was so touching. I was almost tearing when I listen to it.

This is Hua Chenyu, he no matter sing what can let a person feel with empathy, at the beginning I listened to this song, several days can't jump out from the song.

His rearrangement makes this song so different from the original one that I would agree only Hua himself can perform this song so touching. But the original singer Jay Chou is also one of the greatest singers. I love them both.

A big hug for our new Martian, his is the best performer in conveying emotions and make us believe what he tell. He is an singer that naturally good at acting.

He did cry during rehearsal and he did not even hit the high tearing notes then. He then commented to the conductor that he need to hold back his emotions and not let it all out or he will not be able to perform. He was also worried about the reactions from the audience and the conductor said that it is a risk to perform this but if done correctly people will reacte positively.

I cried 😢😭😭😭😭,Very sad,very emotional song. So amazing,I can feel the pain.thank you.

The thing is you can see he was trying to hold back his tears😭 during rehearsals he failed and end up tearing up😢. Being as a martian, I hate to see him cry, it breaks my heart💔

Original song is just a rap... He put in lots of effort to make it his own version. During the rehearsal he was tearing away while playing the piano. He knew he had to control his emotion cos this is a live show

I believe he told us something about his past through this song.

He said to the music director that it is really not advisable to give your 100% while performing this song. Otherwise you end up crying. See, his manager had to bring him tissue :O

I subscribed bro, good reaction, this song is sad, but you should react to Sohyang when she was in The mask Singer 2017, This lady can make cry everyone , she's so perfect to control her voice. she'S so emotional. As others have most likely told you The singer is a competition for established artists and that is why the quality is so high. Hua Chenyu you is a perfect example but Dimash Kudaibergenov from Kazakhstan is another example and one that you should really react to. Just like Hua Chenyu he just keeps surpricing you for each performance you see. He attended The Singer 2017 and mostly I recommend his performances from there but his first song is an exception there I recommend an other performance from The Slavic Bazaar. Chengyu doesn't have a mom since he was little and his dad never cared about him and his dad also told him don't expect me to teach u anything so chengyu got his reputation all by him self
