It pained me to see Risey nickering/soft whinny to Uniek at the beginning and furthermore, she was looking intently at him. These two brought me to this channel, I stayed because of how well the horses were treated by Yvonne, Rein and Crew. Uniek was such a good mother, good leader, good friend, good sister and good horse in general. Her stoicism mirrors Yvonne, they are without a doubt soulmates to me. R.I.P Queen.

Same here, I loved the vlogs of Uniek and Rising Star when he was a small foal. It’s so sad.

Yvonne, I’m a former USAF officer. I don’t cry easily. But, I cannot stop crying seeing this video. I fell in love with horses by watching Queen Uniek accept Risey as her baby. She was a special horse, and not only your friend, but family. I will continue to pray for you until the pain eases up. I believe she is watching over you, and will greet you when you go to Heaven ❤❤❤

I started watching when Risey was adopted by Queen 👑Uniek. I fell in love with her because of her willingness to take a baby to her udder and her heart as if it were her own. I am in tears now because she is gone. But never forgotten. She is in heaven. Corralle is Belle's surrogate mother, in my heart never the true mother. But I thank her for having Uniek's baby. I want to hug you, Yvonne. I want to cry with you. I wish I could send money, but, I am an old woman, alone. I send you love and prayers that things will turn around and be good in the future. I think what you are saying is true. But it is hard to look at it that way when you are still grieving another loss. But Yvonne is strong and one day she will be able to smile when she thinks of Uniek instead of tearing up. Those are the stages we go through when we lose someone dear to us. I smile more now when I think of my parents, for instance, but sometimes I still cry. That is the way it is. Belle is such a blessing, as is Risey even with his issues. Circle of life.

It’s important that Yvonne expresses her true thoughts and feelings in response to her grief. And it’s important for us to listen to her as she moves from grief to remembrance and healing. No one should tell her how to feel, or how to look at things in the direct aftermath. She needed to speak her truth. Yvonne is such a resilient person. She’s shown that for years, especially after her accident.

Oh, Yvonne, imagine how horrible it would have been if Uniek had given birth to Belle and then this happened!!! It’s good to cry, what good is loving Uniek if we don’t smile at the joy and cry when she’s hurting and now gone. I cried for a few hours and was never even in her presence! She was special and your love for her is deep and we feel the loss with you. I have started calling her filly Princess Belle. Because her mother was indeed a regal Queen. I cried too..I had to waite a suitable moment to be able to see this. I cried also when I first looked this shocking news that Q.U. is gone..so let us all cry, because without deep sorrow we are not able to have pure joy. Yvonne we do understand how loosing a beloved animal feels. You don’t have bad luck, you are blessed. You have a loyal husband & healthy children. You have viewers who helped you buy Uniek for yourself & cover all her needs. When Uniek lost her foal, there was a miracle foal that she loved as her own. You had an accident & fell into a coma but you woke up! You recovered more than anyone expected. You run your own stables & people care deeply about your life. Though Rising Star has a concerning diagnosis, he is beautiful & strong now. Uniek’s foal transfer worked perfectly & you received a beautiful princess before the Queen left. There are so many blessings for you! I am so sorry for your loss. 💔 I hope you can take some comfort from the 2 beautiful babies she left in your care. One boy, the child of her heart & one girl, the child of her blood. I know Uniek was loved & cared for from the day you met to the day she left. I hope this is the last heartbreak for you for years to come 🫂

Uniek fan Goengamieden, 2006-2024 Darling Uniek, I live on another continent and don’t understand how I have so much love for a horse I have never met and, sadly, will never meet. I first saw you when you were struggling to give birth to Star. You were desperately trying to lick life into him, but it was not to be. It was a dark time, but in the morning the sun came out with the arrival of a skinny little foal whose mother had died. I’ll never forget your joyous whinny and the happy dance you did when you first saw Rising Star. It was truly love at first sight for you and for me, too. That was the day I fell in love with you and Friesian horses. I watched as you tenderly raised Rising Star and saw him grow up to be the magnificent horse he is today. Over the years you charmed me with your sassiness, your imperiousness, your love of food (especially pellets, apples and carrots), and your stunning beauty. The tender greeting you gave Greg Hammer when he visited, and your enduring love for Yvonne were impressive. You took me riding through the woods and along the beach. We splashed in pools, trotted alongside canals, and relaxed in the meadow. It was a magnificent reign which came to an unexpected and tragic end. Tears are still flowing, but time and Belle will ease the loss we all feel. Rest in peace beloved Queen. You have gone, but your memory will live in our hearts forever.👑❤️🇨🇦❤️

As another person wrote, it was Queen and Rising Star who caught my heart and interest on your so beautiful Videos. Now I share your sadness at the loss on your treasured Queen . I just learned of your beautiful Uniek - I was awestruck by her spirit and beauty when she adopted Rising Star.

Uniek had the best life a horse could ask for. She had the best herd and human family. She finally got to be a mother to Risey and she got to see her lovely daughter Belle before passing. She will be there to guide you, Yvonne and Risey in spirit.

That's beautiful, I recall of an episode I watched, and recently rewatched, where it was an urgent case, the pregnancy went fine, the placenta looked fine. But the next morning they found she had passed. And her foal needed a foster momma for feeding. They had found a horse who had just lost her foal. They put the mare's urine and fecies on the foal to make her smell familiar. To have less of a chance to reject the foal. And thankfully she accepted it eating off her. And a few weeks later they were inseparable. It's like fate for sure. Like Queen would have been for that foal. So beautiful. I'm sure she was an incredible horse ❣️

That video was AWESOME, wasn't it? Its a rare gem! 💎 I have NEVER seen a foster mare SO excited to see a foal! I worked with Miniature horses, Egyptian Arabians, and Thoroughbreds. I was asked to look for any visible illness or injuries, any odd behavior, or illness, and document the breeding cycles of the mares, among other things. I went to college for veterinarian technology (vet tech,) NOT a vet. I've always loved horses, and I have a lot of equine knowledge. I've been at quite a few foalings. I've watched a lot of YT videos too! 😂 You might want to change the spelling to "accepted" instead of "excepted." The voice to text does that to me a lot. I have to remember to Uber enunciate. I'm still so saddened and it's difficult to believe Queen 👑 Uniek is gone. I'm so sorry for Yvonne, family, and everyone at the stables. I think about how her life happened...she supported Yvonne while she recovered, she came to live with Yvonne, she allowed Coralle to be the boss and eventually became her friend, and Uniek lived long enough to meet Her Little Queen Belle. What a beautiful life. I too started watching when the Queen did a happy dance when she adopted Risey. There will not be another like her. She really loved Yvonne - such a wonderful bond. She is greatly missed. 😢❤🌹

Its so sad to hear about Queen Unieks passing. It was the last act of kindness to a wonderful and very special horse. Unike lives on in Belle. So her legasy will always be there.

When our dogs reach the end of their lives we say they have gone over the rainbow bridge. Gone but never forgotten. There are thousands of people like me who will never forget Uniek. I joined your site when Uniek became Risey’s mother. You don’t have bad luck because you have been given the care of two glorious horses and we have known them because of you. i found this channel when i found the Queen and was captivated by her beauty and her sweet heart--i followed for a while with the ups and downs, the challenges and then when i got too sad, i stopped following for a few months-i was so worried about Risey, i did not want to be following if he got worse - but - a few days ago, out of nowhere, Queen Uniek came into my mind and i did not have a good feeling - but i had to check on her only to find the saddest news - Yvonne, i am so sorry about losing her - i think it's heartbreaking and i have tears writing this while my husband is wondering what is wrong with me, tearing up in front of my laptop - i will always remember the joy of Uniek when she first saw Rising Star-she gave him life - i cant say anymore because i just dont have the words - loss is part of life but knowing that makes it no less devastating - Uniek was made special by God so i do believe she is with Him, i really do--take care Yvonne

Yvonne, I cried along with you. How many times I stood at where my Nikita slept. I kept her bed where it was till I was ready to move and put it up. In my hallway there is a memorial of her. I made a shadow box with some of her things in it. My girlfriend made a picture for me to keep beside her cremains and shadowbox. Grief has no timeline, Nikita has been gone since May 2005 and I still cry. Queen Uniek will be forever with you because of Belle and Risey. I was pleased to see you smile because I smiled when you said you had Uniek in the back of your vehicle. You will have smiles and tears as you remember her in your private moments. Funny about the rain, because the day my dad was to be buried it was raining terribly and as the time came to go to the cemetery the Heavens cleared and the sun came out and it was beautiful..ty for this memory of my daddy. Never forget you have a human herd thats here for you and there is nothing we will not hesitate to do for you..please ask, as there is never anything wrong with asking. I love your beautiful horses and I cried along with you watching this video. I was a veterinary nurse so am used to seeing the painful moments when we lose the animals we love, but this was so sad to see. I lived in your wonderful country for 10 years with my family and enjoy hearing Dutch spoken. I am so sorry for your loss of the amazing Queen Uniek.

I started watching your channel long before you bought Queen Uniek, since then I followed step by step what was happening in the stable, when Uniek lost her baby and adopted RS, so many cute stories. Today I found out the bad news that Uniek has passed away, it hurts me and I have cried a lot but thanks God she left you Bella, a baby who will be beautiful like her mother. We are with you.
