Uniek may not have known that was her daughter but I can say she truly loved babies. Her loving eyes while she looked on at the new foal was priceless. She was truly a mother through and through.

@@gillhall7590 This channel brings many people together from around the world, some who just love horses, and then others of us who understand the complexities of equine keeping first hand. But if it was just horsey videos this channel wouldn't have thrived. It's the shared sense of life's up and downs, barn or otherwise (as in Yvonne's fall) that have brought us together in a very hectic, divisive world. However that happens for as long as it lasts, is ALWAYS a miracle. Everyone here is free to join in fellowship, or leave, if the Herd isn't for them, wouldn't even waste energy criticizing something not for me, but would move on down the trail. Just some thoughts.

Seeing Uniek stare so intently at her foal made me cry. We all still miss Uniek so much❤❤❤

Am wondering if there was an ultra sound, revealing the Gender of this little foal of Uniek....

I remember Uniek prancing in place as they brought Rising Star into her stall after losing her foal. I cried a river watching that video and I loved Uniek ever since. Such a sweet loving soul has to be in Heaven.

Queen Uniek always loved the foals. Her tenderness whilst looking at the baby and her respect towards Corella, was an absolute reflection of her whole life. There is a reason why Uniek was the Queen. There will never be another horse to match her natural nurturing of the entire herd. She loved all of them. She commanded respect because of her innate kindness, and grace. Corella is already a good mom. You can tell she's gonna be wonderful to Belle. I happen to feel, deeply, that Uniek knew the baby was hers. So much beauty in this video. Thank you, Yvonne.

U can almost see that Uniek knew that baby was really her daughter...what a blessing she was able to be next to Belle for 10 whole days...she turned her crown over to the last princess born from her eggs🥹🫶🏼🌈🙏

I was sad so few people mentioned Coralle , shame it must have been a difficult delivery , make no mistake I loved our dear Queen as much as anyone ! It just must be awful to be a surrogate but at least humans have the choice . I loved the way you went into Uniek’s stall and gently stroked her cheek while watching Belle and Coralle in the stall. It was so lovely to see Coralle trusting you to touch her baby and her. Poor Coralle was exhausted. Belle was so big! I admit, I teared up when I saw Queen Uniek watching her daughter be born. So magical! 😍

Its as if Uniek knew that there was something special about this baby...how she looked so endearingly/lovingly towards Belle. So special. We know she's watching over her. You can see how Uniek loved you so Yvonne. You had a special bond. These memories will always be cherished. xox

Coralle has really grown on me. I remember Saly and Wunder trying to intimidate her when she first joined the herd. She was so confident and not stressed about any of it. And who doesn't like Uniek and Yvonne both watching Belle together? Such a great moment and memory to have. It's so nice to see the horses and their different personalities.

We do not know how much they know. Humans can only assume to know. Animals are so much in touch with pure emotions that we humans could ever begin to understand. Uniek knew. That face those eyes , made me cry.

Uniek just loved babies! My all time favorite video is Uniek "dancing" in anticipation as Rising Star was being led to their stall 🐎❤️🤟 So wonderful she finally got to welcome her foal even though she doesn't know it's hers. 😍 Thank you for sharing this momentous occasion. Why making her pregnant when it’s was so risky ..perhaps she would have lived longer . But anyway there is Bella with a mixed of dnas that we know these days the mother do gives it’s dna to the baby when pregnant . This has been confirmed in latest studies The industry of surrogacy will tell you , no . Anyway beautifull video

Tears of joy watching Corella giving birth to the Queens daughter as the Queen looks on. You couldn’t write the script. The expression from Uniek is almost mystical. Did she understand what had happened here, did she know she was witnessing her own daughters birth? Knew there was a unique connection? Such a beautiful, extremely touching video. I don't remember the last time I was so moved by anything. Uniek was so intelligent - she was so rapt and knew to be respectful... And watching Yvonne and her share the moment together so tenderly like best friends... still grips my heart hard. God bless you all.

I can hardly believe the way Uniek looked at her daughter, as if she knew it was hers... amazing!!!

Carella is a great mom. She knows her job and she does it well.

Yeah I think there was some question if she ever had a foal before but she seemed like she knew what she was doing. When she was looking for the foal because she passed the first leg.

@@Iflie I was not sure...actually, had wrongly assumed Coralle was a more mature mare...However, Yvonne did state that this was Coralle' s first foal....she did well!

@@lisajoyaslanis I've never remember her saying that with any certainty, it would also be a bit strange to have a young completely inexpirienced mare be a broodmare for this procedure. Who is then the leader of the herd too.

Belle Uniek IS the perfect name for her, Yvonne!! You are right to keep Uniek alive this way. What a great way to always honor her with her foal!! A piece of the Queen you still have. @JulieRichards-sk6kk I know a couple were shipped to Alberta, and that's 2 large provinces away from where I am. It's a 5 hour plane flight if you don't have a layover in Toronto, Ontario, the provincial capital. I'm in the nation's capital, which, by car, is 6 hours away from Toronto. Jenn 💖

I love that Coralle allowed Uniek to look her fill at Belle and not stand between them. The way Uniek looks at Belle is just beautiful 😍 So very glad Uniek had a few days to enjoy her before she left us.

To see Uniek stare at her baby made me bawl like a baby. I hate that the Queen is gone and not there to see her baby grow up. Such a grand mare, gone too soon.

What a beautiful sight! The whole family, two moms, and Belle, a beautiful baby. Coralle is an attentive mother. It brings tears to my eyes to see how lovingly Uniek gazes upon her foal.

Coralle is the most attentive mother I have seen! And watching Uniek look on with Yvonne was so touching!

This is so incredible to watch! I have tears of my eyes because we know the end of the story for Uniek. It must have been so incredibly hard for you to edit this video. I'm so happy that you now have Belle! She will carry on her mother's legacy.

I know it was difficult for you to edit this film knowing that Uniek is gone to the Heavenly Pastures. I got choked up and teary eyed watching her look at her new born daughter. But at least she was able to see her for 10 beautiful days before she left us. Now Princess Belle will carry on her legacy, as will all her foals from past years. I have been watching Prince Julius on another KZread Channel and you can see so much of Queen Uniek in him. May God grant you good luck from this point on with all your horses and ponies, including Glendy. Everyone please pray for her. God Bless Everyone here, especially Yvonne, her Family and Herd.

I think our adorable Queen knew there was something special about the filly, deep down I hope she knew, it makes my heart sing to believe she did. We love you Queen Uniek, now and forever 🥰😍

I believe you are correct saying Coralle told Uniek. They talked over their stalls - don’t think for a minute that they didn’t .. horses have their horse talks❤️😉

I have to agree with those who feel that Uniek knew that tiny life was her blood, the way she was looking at Belle was beauutiful. Welcome little Belle so glad i knew that things worked out and that shes doing well ❤ watch over your princess Uniek.

I am watching this and crying. It’s beautiful and so sad to me. I miss Uniek. What a special soul she was, and the way she looked at the foal.. it feels like she knew. Kind, beautiful Uniek. She made me fall in love with her and her sweetness and gentleness. She was a very special horse. It is so special she got to see Belles birth. Love you Uniek. I’m looking forward to seeing Belle grow into her mother’s princess. ❤❤❤
